You'll all be under no illusions that I'm loving life in Bangkok mak mak... but there is one dark cloud on the horizon. I can't stand this crap insipid Thai pop music.
I've just bought myself one of those home theatre systems and am trying to preset to the best radio stations.
I'm looking for either English Language stations (can I get BBC World Service over here, for instance) and music stations that play western pop and rock.
Can anyone give me some pointers please?

Well, with your broadband connection all day on, why not take advantage of internet stations?
New site: http://www.mercora.com (excellent sound quality, even on my dialup). Then hook up your computer to your home theater.
Or check Windows Media Player for a large number of online stations.

However, to answer my own question, I found great station at 102.5.

Go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/ follow the instructions and plug your sound card's output into an aux input on your new system... (probably using a 3.5mm stereo jack plug to two RCA phono plug lead available almost anywhere, including Pantip Plaza, for 40-50B).

May I add : 88.00 PEAK FM...once I dated a gal who work as a dj there,but nothin more than a soothing voice.

On windows media--if you like techno/alternative--click alternative and try triple j out of australia and phantom radio out of dublin ire. I listento these in the US. Great variety and DJ's.
I have grown to like Esson misic alot--strange...
