Because of my youth and exuberant spending, I didn’t have much to start with, but I left it all and have been living out of my back pack for since I moved to Asia 6 years ago. I "chucked it all" and moved here almost 4 years ago. I had 2 cars, sold one and donated the other, and left behind an unpaid CC. I gave away alot of personal items to friends and charity, and I brought my dog and a some suitcases and boxes and that was it. I've never been happier, and I hope that I won't have to move back to the US for many years to come.

Not over my head in debt. I have a condo that is bad need of repair. Have a car I owe about 8 grand on and about 8 grand in CC debt. Have access to about 40 grand (losing my job come monday I believe). Have been planning the move for June (probably May now). I am just looking to see if others have said just f**k it leave it all behind as is.
