Anyone have Permanent residency and live outside of bangkok or Pattaya.

Alien reg books have to be stamped at 5 yearly intervals and a new photo affixed.

Here in Buriram, the local police have no knowledge of what to do.

Any thoughts as to how/where I can get the proper stamp?

You are correct by going to your local police station, they are the ones that should stamp your PR. What you could do is ask a larger station in the Buriram province for advice, if al fails let Soi Suan Plu advice them.
