Hi, my friend and I looking for a serviced apartment near the action, guest friendly and most important: Two bedroom suite with two king size bed. I preferred the Centre point sukumvit until I found out the second bedroom has only a single bed. As I found out, Centre Point Silom has two master bedrooms, 183 sqm both bedrooms with king size bed. I might prefer that, any experience? Do they allow girl visitors without extra charge? Or any other recommendations? Thanks for the support. AndyTravel

Centre Point Silom is a great place, I stayed in the 1 bedroom last year and it was huge, the 2 bedder you could get lost in. But it is not really near any action, the closest is patpong 3 bts stations away or probably a 40-50 baht taxi ride. By the way, Ambassador suites quoted me 3000b for a 2 bedroom recently when I wanted a discrete rendevous point.

Got back from the PS 3 weeks ago. Stayed 2 weeks. Very girl friendly, pleasant staff, Fab room-suite, plasma 42" hdtv in br, 30 flatscreen tv in lr, free broadband wireless internet, one falang four woman jacuzi, floor to cieling marble bath, kitchen, etc. etc.. I had the Platinum suite(800 sq ft.). $75. a nite. Just made res. for January(Platium Suite) for 30 nites ($52 a nite) Yeah, I'd say it's good.

Thanks ib6ub9. Is it good for longer term stay(3 to 6 mos) or does it have a more "hotel" feel to it?

It has the feel of a hotel. 3, 6, months? Why not? I'm staying for a month.

ib6ub9, Hey was wondering if you could give up any more info on the president solitaire...? Do any of their rooms have 2 beds. I'm deciding on the PS or JW marriott for december. Wondering if it's gonna be worth it with a buddy of mine to try it out or stay with the JW, thanks

Centre Point, Petburi Road, 15 should be your destination, my friend. Make sure you head to the fourth floor (push F on the elevator), and get your voucher for the room. I paid 1700 Baht for a one bedroom studio. Whatever they initialy quote you is negotiable. Greatest place I stayed in, so far. Harry
