I scheduled my year-end 4 weeks in BKK this past summer, but ended up not being able to wait!
The stress in my corporate position got so bad - waking up at 2:00 am every morning dreaming about that sh*t - I went on-line, secured my tickets to BKK, made reservations at the Landmark - and told my boss I was history from 9/26 to 10/7.
Best decision I made all year. When he bitched, I threatened to make it a permanant retirement. So much for the bitching! Where else would they find a stupid f*ck like me to do the job I do!
Hang in Bro and take a few unplanned yearly trips to the LOS to get your head on straight!

Yeppers ! ol end of year focals coming up and upper management is gonna line thier pockets when we are exceeding sales revs and net income by 20% and keep cost down by assesing us with a trending downward performance stats although we've done less without any merit raises or COLA's for the past 3 years and headcount reductions along with more multitasking workloads that have caused many to PA frequently.
