I am not a pilot in fact I can just about fly a kite. Somebody has told me that they have seen farangs working at Don Muang Airport (walkie talkies in hand etc). Does anybody know of any aviation related positions where farangs work in Thailand ? Any websites advertising? It would have to be something in which the Thais had a shortage of ? I doubt whether its possible but you never know ?
station managers are usually from the country of the airline which they represent.
I understand they are employed by headquarters.
above them are usually the regional managers, but unlikely to be posted in bangkok. rather in hubs as singapore, hongkong (less and less) or shanghai (more and more).
bigger airlines might even have sales managers.
you might be best advised to check with your local airlines for such a "hardship posting".
