I agree with Colorado Guy on this one.
My observations. With Bar Girls, working girls etc. you pay them to lie to you, it’s part of the job. I think the literally term is suspension of disbelief. The problems occur when you start really believing she thinks you are “hansom man”. Let’s face it you would not want her saying you are old, fat and ugly and she only goes with you because you pay well, even if it’s true. It’s one thing to believe in Superman when you are watching the film, totally another to continue to believe when you get home from the cinema.
That is not to say that things cannot develop into a proper relationship. I do not know how you would define sponsorship, but I would say it’s not the same as being engaged or being married. To me it seems like an extension of P4P so one should expect the façade. If you want the girl exclusively it probably requires more commitment than a bank transfer every month, which you could cut off at any time.
I have known a lot of PRC girls in Dubai, some very well indeed. One thing that has struck me, and this has been commented on by others, is the lack of “sick buffalo” stories. I do know a couple who have strung along regular BF that they are the only one, but in most cases the "BF" was well aware of what was going on, but ThaiPrivateEye, you may find a few customers out there!

A few additional points :-
- I have deliberately not elaborated on my Chinese Mainlander's looks or on our relationship as I will definitely be biased - and I will leave that for time to tell.
- The Chinese girls from this area in China are quite unlike the ones that travel to Hong-Kong, Singapore ( and maybe even Dubai ) to work. I get the feeling from posts made elsewhere on this Forum that the Chinese girls in those places are what I would call the Shanghai / Beijing type of Chinese girl - i.e. relatively tall, slender, good looking, English speaking.
However the girls from this area of China are of the farm variety - mostly stocky ( although there are exceptions ) ; mostly NOT stunners ( although there are some that would turn heads anywhere ) and definitely all non-English speakers.
- Because of the above attributes these girls very rarely work in the usual "farang" P4P areas - preferring to concentrate in the Hauy Kwang area where most of the Chinese speaking tourists ( from Taiwan, Singapore, Hong-Kong & China ) go.
Until about 2 years ago there were a lot of them in Bangkok ( Huay Kwang ) - But when the Government started cracking down on foreign girls working in P4P ( mainly Chinese and Burmese ) nearly all these girls moved to Hat Yai which in any case is much closer for the Singaporeans and Malaysians.

Type yes, but not often directly from Beijing or Shanghai (more tall and stylish than Bejing girls).
High class Shanghai girls who expect rich returns for her favors would not think of moving away from Shanghai. She will expect to have an apartment bought for her in the heart of the city.
Why move from New York to get laid in a down market flat in Buffalo or Phildelphia or from London to Brighton or Southhampton?
Beijing and Shanghai type girls do come from the surrounding area or districts of those two elite cities who say they are Shanghai or Beijing girls.
If the Shanghai girl does NOT speak Shanghaihua which is a dialect spoken there only, in addition to Putonghua (Mandarin), she is NOT from Shanghai.
There is absolutely no necessity for anyone living and workng n Shaghai to have to sponser any Shanghai girl.
The level of sexual freedom and experimentation ie. sex with foreigners is quite high.
Visitors of course should act accordingly, with their wallets.

In Dubai that is generally the case. In fact most of the girls seem to come form Dailan or Beijing areas. Levels of English, education and looks are highly variable of course.
