You're a good guy, so here's information just for you. I don't know whether it will be helpful or not.
During my trip a few weeks ago to LOS, I was trapped in traffic on Soi 3. I got out of the cab because I thought I could walk the last few blocks faster. I was coming from a business meeting and heading towards an appointment at Eden. I turned left on the first little sub-soi past the Grace Hotel. About half-way down the sub-soi there was a small bar on my left as I walked towards Soi 5. Two very attractive young women of Middle Eastern appearance called out to me in Arabic and beckoned for me to come over. I have dark hair, a full beard and was wearing a very conservative business suit, so they may have mistaken me at a distance for a Middle Eastern man. I was already late for the Eden Club, so I just smiled and waved. I was in a hurry, walking fast and this happened quickly, but the women looked like they might have been Moroccan. I don't think they were Uzbeks, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, you might want to check out that sub-soi and talk to the barowner next time you're in LOS.
