Well next trip is all sorted with me staying for a couple of months (told you all I was in Love). SO!! With that in mind I am looking to stay at an apartment. I have about 3 or 4 in mind currently all are available. I have also prioritised these into a list of prefered apartments, all are withing 5K of each other price wise) If I turn up without arranging before I arrive (I have somewhere to stop for my first night) and went through this list with Cash on the table do you think I could get a good discount. The first place and top of my list is asking 28 K per month.. with one months cash and one month deposit on the table say of 25K per month do you think I would get it for this price?? Just trying to get an idea of your thoughts. I would imagine after xmas is a quiet period anyway.

A lot of places ask for two months deposit. So with rent, you're actually paying 3 months right off the bat. Make sure you inquire about that. They will also ask for a lease of 6 months. However many of your residential hotel places may not. These things being said, it is an excellent idea if you don't mind certain hotel luxuries not being available (depends on your apartment), and if you do some shopping you could save a good amount of money. I'm sure you'll have a good time. I've known several people do this here, and have liked it more.
