The kitchen photo shows a washing machine. But they don't include that fact in the room descriptions which is probably why I never checked out that place before.

Sai tai, you mentioned that you switched your room to Soi 2 side which is less noisy. I wonder if you could still hear the noise in that side or it is fairly quiet.
I am considering Shama for my next stay but as I have to work I need to be able to sleep during the night without too much noise from outside or the neighboring apartments.

Shama looks great, but pricey. Always liked the Somerset Lake. Never seen it as cheap as now 1500 (ai). A steal if they're keeping the place up. No sun at the pool though. wj

The noise on the Soi 2 side is traffic... the sound is like freeway traffic. Anyway, it was white noise for me. Didn't bother my sleeping.
I never heard a sound from the neighboring apartments while I was there.
