Unless they have tons of rooms available, don't count on a price reduction. This apartment is probably mostly occupied by Thais and resident foreigners so low/high seasons don't count so much. But best way is to find out.
Secondly, don't try to call, email or chat.. go there. That's the best way in Thailand.

Time to cut the KHRAP. There is no better apt, and they rent monthly, than SUTTI MANsion 2 at thong lo bts-i think. entrance is 2-5 steps away from escalator to bts. NOt hundreds of meters away like kv mansion. And Sutti is in inner sukhumvit not on the outer skirts of suk.
Price very reasonable.
A 5 minute walk could easily be 15 minute walk.
