So, the room service food sucks at the Emporium. Good thing I rarely order room service to begin with!! And the rooms are goodl, but from what I gather nothing spectacular over the other two.

Long ago when I moved to BKK I first stayed at Emporium for some time until I found a more permananent place.
I loved living there. It was extremely convenient. I was looking for one BR but chose the studio because it is huge by studio standards. So big that it looked more pleasant to me than the 1 BR which although slightly bigger than the studio in m2, the fact that a wall separated the room from the living area made both look small.
The studio has its own seating area just as the 1BR just that there is no dividing wall from the area where the bed is.
Room service? I do not know about the quality of the food they made themselves -never used it- never needed with the Emporiun supermarket there, I would go buy stuff and put it in the kitchen. But what I liked was you could call the lobby at any time and ask them to bring you things from outside. I did many times when partying and if in the latest hours of the night we wanted something, we would make a call to the reception with the shopping list and they would send someone to 7-11 to get us what we wanted.

Centre Point Sukhimvit is not walking distance to Emporium. Centre Point is down Soi 10 and Emporium is at Soi 24. You could get to the Emporium by BTS, but it is probably a 10-15 walk to the Asoke BTS stop from the Centre Point.

For Emporium:
* Monthly rates are subject to 5% service charge.
* Rates are iclusive of American breakfast, maid service, linen change, electricity and water supply.
For Centre Pointe:
* Monthly Rates include Daily cleaning, linen change, water supply
* Electricity is charged at 4 baht/unit.
* Apparently does not include breakfast
If you have a laptop, I would check on availability and rates for internet access in your room.

Stayed at the Solitaire and loved it. Big plus is the price covers in room high speed internet.

only can comment on the solitaire.
don't like to promote this place as they are usually fully booked anyway, but biggest plus are:
close to q-bar and bed,
plasma and dvd,
jacuzzi in some rooms,
free (sort of high speed, excellent for thai standards) connection in your room,
absolutely girl friendly and understanding place with great security guys,
quiet place unless you have a party going on next door,
excellent furnishing,
ananda spa in the complex,
easy acces to lower and higher sukhumvit sois and petchburi / asoke because of the backroads between soi 11 and 3 and also 13, 15, 17!
backdraws are:
lousy food, lousy food, lousy food and the pool area is soso! by the way did I mention the crappy food?
longest period I have stayed was for five weeks and never regreted any minute in there

Did you lose weight seeing the food was so crappy? IMHO, Lunch was OK, the Pool is quiet and with WiFi access from the Pool side it makes for a pleasant work environment!!!
