I just got back from a few nights at Centrepoint Sukhumvit (soi 10) and was extremely impressed. The rate was 1000 baht for a full 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, 2 full baths, 2 TV's, high speed internet (yes, HIGH SPEED), great security, free tuk tuk every 5 minutes to the end of the soi, pool, etc.
This was by far the best place I've stayed in BKK for the price and I will stay here or in another Centrepoint from now on. It just cannot be compared to a hotel.
Also, because it is a serviced apartment, there is no ++ tax as with a hotel. So 3000 baht is 3000 baht. Keep that in mind as it makes a big difference...

Is Centrepoint having a promo now? How did you get the 1,000 baht rate for the 1 bedroom aprt?
I'll be in Bkk on early Dec. Would be nice to stay there.

Must have been a hell of a promotion as I'm paying 2800baht/day at same hotel for the same apartment, but with 1 bath only.... thats crazy =)

very true....
centrpoint sukhumvit is very worth it....
its best to book the 2 bedroom one if u are travelling with a fren... that way.... its cheaper coz its less than 4K divided by 2 ! and u might get to switch partners at nite ! hahaha
any of u staying there currently ?
I managed to get a booking end of this month for a deepavali long weekend sanuking !

Yeah, I stayed there on my last trip and it was great. Me and my bro got a 2 Bedroom apt, it had 2 baths and 2 bedrooms and 1 study. It was great because we could all party together in the living room and then retire to our respective rooms with our respective girls. No, there was no partner switching although a few of his girls were pretty cute but that would mean his grubby paws would be all over my women, and I know where he'd been! (that dirty bastard).
The Sukhumvhit location only has 1 bedrooms and up, while the others have studios.

How does the Langsuan location compare to the Sukhumvite one? Is one apartment complex newer then the other one or have nicer rooms?

I spent a few weeks at the Centrepoint Petchburi last month and was very impressed. The hotel is girl friendly and I got a salute from the doorman every time I came home. It cost me 2,000 baht per night, but I know that other CentrePoint locations cost more. Check out here.

I was looking at their website and was just makin' sure that the rooms still look like the pictures on the web.
You know how that goes. They take the images before they open the place and years later the funiture is all run down, but the pictures on the site make it look like new!! ha ha ha ha!!
