Bros stayed at the Floryville, but way off the Suk.
use last minute deals at rates to go.com you may get good weekly/monthly or heck use your head and stay at the Manhatten for a few days and look for what you want, they will show you rooms, and Ive seen street rates posted around 1000 baht daily with better weekly monthy rates. Find a Thai GFE and she'll get you great rates. Many smaller boutique apartments with good room and facilities all over the BKK area. Scotter to SkyTrain then taxi home at night. Walking Suk sucks lately, vendors crowding the streets.
Thats why Bros stay around Nana, less walking and taxi rides.

Am at the Omni right now - it got a few negative reviews recently, but am pleasantly surprised. The rooms are a bit dated, but still in good condition and very clean. Paid 1600 for a one-bedroom got an upgrade and a huge place.
Service staff is good as usual.
