Hi to everyone, this is my first post in this board and I hope to receive feedbacks from members in the know about the Fraser Place Executive Residences on Soi Langsuan (near Centrepoint Langsuan and Natural Ville.) Is it GF or not? I've seen pics of the rooms in their website and everything looks excellent. Has anybody here stayed in the place or may have friends who already did? Any idea how far it really is from the Chitlom skytrain station? Many thanks in advance for replies.

For ppl, who might still be interested in the Fraser: Very much tailored towards families with children. Rooms clearly inferior to Natural Ville and Mayfair Marriot. Thin walls as well. Pool area on floor 33 is ok, however pool to small for laps. Carpeted bedrooms. However Fraser has the best equipped kitchens of all. Right now there is a promotion going on, where the sales guy discounts by almost 30%. 1BR study or 2 BR deluxe from 110K rack rate to around 82K per month. Nevertheless, IMHO only attractive if with kids. Otherwise.....plenty of better choices in the area.

Stayed here in April. If you want a quiet place then Fraser Place is it, as it is a bit off the beaten track down Soi Lang Suan, aprox 10-12 mins walk from Chitlom BTS. Appartments are 100% g/f, they wouldn't notice or say anything if you took 10 back. Also the walk of shame is good as none of the day staff work at nights, just 1 or 2 maintenance people and perhaps someone hidden behind the desk. Kitchens and living areas are great, they even give you free noodles and drinks, but the pool is not great. If like me, you like relaxing by the pool in the day time, perhaps give this place a miss for this reason alone, as the pool is tiny, hardly any chairs and if you suffer from vertigo you will freak as the area is not wide and has glass effect walls. Also, if you are mau at night the sodding lifts need you to have a degree in science !! If anyone is thinking about this place, I have several pics and would be happy to email to anyone - just pm me. Please note pics are of Fraser Place and contain no flesh.

Disappointed by your post TSD, I thought Fraser would be better than Natural Ville - which is already way below Mayfair or Ascott standards, my favourite choices so far- and was considering checking the new Fraser Suite in Sathorn since I heard they're opening one and usually stay in the area. Any input on the Sathorn/Suan Phlu Fraser?

@latenight: unfortunately not. If you want to stay in Sathorn area, I think there is not a lot better coming up than the 1BR premier at Ascott for 90K promotional rate at the moment (from 115K). Very cool place, however, I do not like the location too much and, thus, settled for Natural Ville today ( 6 weeks).

Romeland made a very valid point about the pool area, I have forgotten to mention. My company actually felt sick after being up there and looking straight down through the window.

1BR Premier in The Ascott Sathorn, as long as a high floor is available, is my usual haunt in BKK. Mayfair beeing the alternative. I used to stay in NV as well but find it well below Ascott in quality. Agree for the location, it's not so clear for me as I work near Ascott but otherwise Lang Suan is more convenient. 90K is a good deal BTW, wonder how long they will hold that rate, I will check if they aso have promotions for short terms as they increased the rate to 5500net a night at the beginning of the year.
