Well - my plans for being more permanent in the Kingdom is proceeding. One part is to find a suitable office preferably near Sukhumvit. I am looking around - but maybe someone here have some good tip! Any suggestions welcome!

Try sukhumvit suits Soi 13 they have apartmnts and office space for rent
Studios furnished from 15,000

Go in to the reception floor (14 I think) and there is a notice board with available rents displayed.

Rent a room some where you want to rent for a week. Then walk around take your time and find a place that you like. Low season now good prices as well.

Ly, there are so many places in that area, just find a building you like and walk in, talk to the managment office.

I am actually surprised that a man of your experience is asking that question.

Jojje,

I had an office in the nai lert building for 3 years. great location, good managment, very reasonable price (12K for a 60sqm office) it comes cold, though.

"surprised that a man of your experience is asking"

555, well, I've never actually stayed in BKK for more than a night or two and the last time I checked monthly rental in the city was over a decade ago

I've got too much baggage to go window shopping, so I will probably get a cheap hotel near the BTS and explore by day

my biggest concern is internet, as I fear a lot of those cheap apartment buildings will not provide internet services

hmm, I was just in Nai Lert building last week, not a bad location at all

Hello all,

This feelis like the correct area to post - but I apologise if not.

I was wondering if any brothers out there had any experience/advise about renting an apartment or condo for about 2-3 weeks for approx May time.

I'm planning a trip with a mate and we were thinking about getting a two bedroom serviced apartment, with usual features (pool/jacuzzi would be nice).

We were thinking that the price would be about the same as two rooms in a nice hotel. Location wise - not too fussed as long as transport is available. Girl Friendly would also be a major plus, of course!

Any reccomendations?

Thanks

Hwa

you might be able to rent a serviced apartment, but not a condo or regular apartment, unless you are willing to put down a deposit that you will lose for not staying at least 3 months
