If it's between the two? Emporium by a landslide- I was on the second floor Starbucks today reading a paper and the eye candy was simply superb. Emporiums' pool and gym are nearly as good as it gets, too.

Emporium costs about 2-3 times as much as President Park. There is a reason for the price difference.

Hmm Emporium, I don't like it now, they will start to charge parking fee in huge amount, especially from car that park between 02.00am to 05.00am I think that's not a good idea, as they also only lower parking charge if we buy something in their dept store. But not for hotel guest / visitor. I ussually sleep in there on weekend, but now not interest, worry about parking charge.

Maybe you should sleep in the hotel, instead

Prices at Emporium are now way beyond reasonable, trying to compete with international 5-star hotels.
They offer a 5% discount from the fat city full pricing days of the go-go market (this is clearly a crashed hotel market). They do not get it and unwilling to face the reality that they are no longer in the running. For Emporium's rate, I will stay at a real 5-star international hotel, without even a second thought.
While Emporium is a "Thai 5-star standard," President Park is a "Thai 4+ star standard." And they are dealing.
A friend recently bagged Emporium and moved to President Park where he is got a 2,400 baht rate and a free upgrade to a 1-br suite.
