I am wondering.... we used to have a very lively forum. Now, no post for four days ???? That is very unlike the Eden Club forum. I am sure the action has not died down. Perhaps a rethink is required. Should the forum move back to the Specialty Bars forum????

The so-called 'High-Season' for tourists hasn't begun yet, if it ever does this year after the military coup, so that might explain things, but also you have to take into account this present deluge of rain storms that have hit Bangkok. Another contributory factor might be that a lot of the schools are on holiday firstly as a break in between the first and the second semester and secondly as a preventative measure against this infectious epidemic that has hit school kids in the area. So a lot of the Bangkok-based English teachers are away on holiday.
Having said that, if you take your beer and umbrella outside of Absolute bar and witness the stream of traffic going in and out of Edens during an evening, one must surmise that the present plane-loads of customers are not into recording their experiences there in any sort of literary way.
By the way, I realy do like this present re-structuring of the forum to gather together all the Eden threads. Very tidy. Very user friendly. Well done BK.

I can guess why. It was always free, then suddenly we were told we had to 'upgrade' (i.e. pay money) if we wanted to see anything more than just the first page of each thread. I finally decided to pay up, but I nearly decided against. Anyone who decided against will not know - cannot know - that the the new forum is free, because you can only find it thru the link on the last page of the old one, which you can't see unless you've paid.....
