hi Guys
i didn't want to spoil everybody's Happy new Year, thtat's why I am posting only today
i have been hospitalized the 28th decembre 3pm
my best friend and partner in Eden Club Pattaya ( Francis ) came to see me the 28th and 29th December many times a day
the 30th December, I didn't see him coming, tried to call him at lunch, 1pm,2 pm, 3 pm 4 pm but his phone wasn't open
knowing that something was wrong I took out all the drains, cables, monitor and so on from my body, signed a discharge from the hospital and went straight away to Francis home
this is where I found him in his bed, deceased
i took care of everything with the police up to about 8pm
then went back to the hospital
the 31st 9am I got my double heart operation and left the same day at 10pm from the hospital
i went to the Club in Pattaya and announced to everybody this really sad news
i took at the same time the decision to shut down Pattaya
i did open Pattaya only for Francis ( some of you may have known him when he was running for a few months Eden Club Bangkok, he used to post as EDENUNCLE )
i am now selling both business ( brand new ) the Bar and the 12 rooms hotel at costing prices
not looking to make any money on it
jsut asking the future buyer to change the name of the Club, not of the hotel
sorry to let you know that Eden Club Pattaya was running for only 4 days
i have no feeling to continue to go over there everyday and cry everyday thinking about my friend
there will never be an Eden Club Pattaya anymore

Dear Marc,
Sorry to hear about the trgaic demise of Francis. Take heart, though. Life is meant to give us those bumps every now and then. Try and rethink before you finally quit Pattayya. Perhaps something better is just around the corner.

So, so sorry Marc, about your best friend and business partner, Francis.....all will miss his checking out !
Don't overdue things yourself, Marc ! First get healthy and feel good and live.
Then reconsider your selling the Eden Club and Pattaya Eden for awhile in yet haste. Get careful $$$ investment partners first, not screwed up real estate drunks.
Much Goodwill and Luck is instilled in the Edens'......dont let it go to just anyone to ruin a good thing.....Like I said get healthy, do careful reasoning at first, and sorry for your grief at short unforeseen notice....much can be gained from good counsil and consideration, so no one can really screw things up!....see a good advisor legal such!
Heck goodwill and name brand recognition on the "Eden Club" if your tax, financial, personal, and underground accountung books are in order, with any luck you could incorporate the Edens and sell common shares.
I'd bet the capital plus the cash flows less the operations and construction cost and ladies issues should amount to > greater than $500K US NET in your pockets right off the bat, thats unless you have other liabilites and partners in the shadows.
Dont be too dang hasty in the quick sell, evaluate the situation and your medical condition fiirst.
If you have to shed Pattaya, do it in parts, but keep strong interest or control of the Edens, so dont let em go Marc ! for no one !..... It aint worth giving them up for down n out skid row cheap! dont take for less $
You will always be the #1 Proprietor of the Edens' !
What is your asking price of both clubs currently ?
See even us all begin to ponder the Edens good will on this question? capital is ez to figure out, property owned, rent and leased, but Goodwill Name Brand recognition and shear Demand of the 2 lady product will be your task to figure out and to definately counsil future owners about.

This is all tragic news. My prayers are with you all.
If you want my advice do not rush into anything just now. Close Pattaya for sure as a new business will bring its own headaches which you can do without. Eden Bangkok can run by itself for a few weeks.
Sit back and relax and get healthly then make you decisions.
If then you decide to sell then fine that is you decision and we will respect it. You have dedicated yourself to the club over the years and you deserve to get the maximum return for all your hard work.

Shocking news, I am deeply saddened. My condolences to you, Francis' family and everyone who is mourning him. I will see to it that candles are lit in his memory at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York.
But even in this sad time, Marc, take care of your health.
Francis, rest in peace. You were a great guy and will be sorely missed.
Again, my sympathies.
