I had the good fortune of being at Eden--the Den of Iniquity--for the past week. If memory serves correct, Pla just quit about 10 days ago. The biggest difference is the new towels and bed linens. From what I could see, all the upstairs rooms had entirely new pillows, sheets and towels, which was nice because the old ones where getting too tattered.
One day last week, Eden was particularly busy and all the upstairs rooms were being used, so we had to go to the hotel adjacent to Eden. The linens and towels in this adjacent hotel were still the old ones, and looked rather tattered. I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but if you make a booking for an in-house session, you might want to request an upstairs Eden room, so you get the better linens and towels. Just a small suggestion that makes a pretty big difference.
Indeed, Bruce is gone and has been replaced with Mickey. He is unmistakable, as he has long, black hair pulled back in a pony-tail and speaks with a deep French accent. He's a very nice guy, who seems eager to carry on the same great customer-service that Eden is famous for. Another gentleman named Jack was there all week. I think Jack might be a co-owner along with Marc, but I'm not sure. Anyway, Jack was there and seemed to be training Mickey, as well as making decisions on the renovation, painting, etc.
