Please clarify! I have heard that right now you do not use the rooms at Eden, instead you use the short term hotel nearby. If that is correct, why can't I take these girls to my hotel if it is close?

About a year ago shortly before the big APEC conference, Marc decided not to use the rooms above his bar anymore. While the nature of his business remains the exact same, it was an effort to distance himself from being a full-fledge brothel. By simply moving all the action to the hotel next-door, I think he felt that he would have a better chance to remain under the radar of any legal troubles. Seems like a rather meaningless difference, but I think in Bangkok it makes a big difference.
I suppose that's a really long-winded way of letting you know that his business remains the exact business it always was. Rather than going upstairs, you now go out one door, walk ten steps outside to the left, and go in another door. It's not like checking into some hotel nearby...these rooms are practically adjacent to his bar.
When people mention that you must go to a short-term hotel "nearby," it's actually just adjacent to his bar. For all practical discussions, it's still "in-house." I agree, though, it would be nice to take the girls away during the day.

Buttman, thanks for the info. This is what I expected to hear. The next time I return, I may be at the Dynasty Inn. I wonder if telling Marc that will allow me to bring the girls to my room instead of the place in the same soi.

So you are saying that I have to choose from what is left with no chance of seeing the girls that are already with customers. I am not trying to tell marc how to run his business, just saying I prefer places that do not pressure you to choose.

It takes me about 10 minutes to drink a beer.
It takes me about 34 seconds to choose a girl. So I take my beer to the room. Finnish it after my first round. Had my second trip to Eden yesterday. I was very happy the first time. The second time it was even better. I think I enjoyed it more because I knew what to expect and could control it.
