The FL's in Geylang are no better or worse than the ones in OT, just cheaper. There will be Fuglies, there will be gems. Just have to look! I doubt LY has spent any time there. It does vary enormously, last year GP time they where elbow to elbow, now you have to look in some of the Coffee shops etc.

Those rates are interesting. I've been to Singapore about 5 times in the last 3 years and always drink in Ipanema Bar in Orchard Towers. I have taken Thai, Vietnamese, Flipper and one Macau girl from there for between $120-150 Sing. I am in no hurry and happy to stand and drink for a few hours and the birds come up to you (again and again). Their prices drop as the night progresses.

Gotta agree with OZ: Geylang runs the gamut, and some of the FLs there are quite nice.
Some of the brothels are over the top: the funniest thing I saw was a jungle-themed room with a motorized humpy-hump bed...they wanted an extra SG$50, just for the room, on top of the SG$200 for the girl.
That day, met a nice Viet girl at a table on the main road, and spent an enjoyable time in her room, SG$50.
