I flew Raffles Class and I will say, I was impressed. Flat-bed for person as tall as 6'6". Took a stroll back to economy, and I was amazed at the legroom. AC power throughout the plane, video systems (60 movies to choose from), the works. Review is here:

There is even a lounge on the plane for each class of service... I was going to suggest they turn that space into an MP to help kill the 18 hours. 
Next month, I'm on this flight again, connecting in SIN to BKK.

Someone once told me there were some filopino (sp?) bars at OT. Is that true, and if so which bars?
I'm consistently underwhelmed by the quality at ippanema, though the attitude was good tonight. I did see a very impressive rack on a chinese girl.

The main Fillipina hangout was the Bar directly above Ipanema which with the addition of a staircase has now become Ipanema upstairs! Not sure were they have moved too, try the Green Mango in the Basement!

wassup bros??? time for another SIN RT??
theres a couple of fillipina bars in OT, mostly located in the basement, the Blue Banana n the Peytons Place is pretty popular. one that I hang out pretty often is Club Passion.
not much P4P action in these bars. most gals work on the basis of ladies drinks, getting some $$ from the drinks buy them...
ladies drinks range from $15 for a Corona, $20 fro a wine and $30 for a long island tea. i'll recommend u buy them bottled drinks eg corona, wine etc. usually cocktails, long island tea, margarita, tequila are all diluted. yeah...that explains why these gals are damn good drinkers!!! 
one last advise, watch yr price tag!!

"Bongo Bar" - totally dead at 10pm last night. Ipanema was hoping.
Thanks for the advice on the Fillipina bars; that might actually be more my style at the moment, though the price is not so good.

bcos of the constant anti-vice n immgration checks in KTVs and the east side bars (Joo Chiat and Geylang), many Chinese gals have found their way to OT.
be careful with them....they are so desperate that some will pester u for a tip of $20-$50 for time spent talking to u after u reject their sky-high $$300 ST!

wassup bro... i'm out of town, but I left my phone at home. that explains why I didnt reply.
bongo bar only comes alive on weekends........especially when the Thai band is playing. don be surprised to see working TGs from Geylang having a gals nite out there!!
u may get lucky in those fillipina bars... but u'll have to drop by more often and invest some ladies drinks before u can taste yr fruits of labour
btw....Club Passion is located on the second floor.
