Hi All, I have seen there is a direct fligh from Samui to Singapore with bangkok Airways so I decided that I will do a trip there.
How many days would You suggest me to stay to visit it? which are the main things to see? And would You like to suggest me a good hotel for price and location.

Michele, I can recommend a couple of hotels that will hopefully be in your budget.
First, Strand Hotel, this is a very nice hotel and relatively new. It is on Ben Coolen Street, every taxi guy knows. I think it is below S$100 for sure.
If not you can stay in a brand new hotel that has opened just 3 doors away from Strand, it's called Hotel 81 Ben Coolen. This will definitely be cheaper. If you like to stay in Chinatown which has a more exotic feel to it, Hotel 81 Chinatown opened last month as well, it looks really nice and retro from outside.
Both these hotels (apart from the chinatown one) are located at the far end of Orchard Toad which is the main shopping, entertainment strip. And from there you can go anywhere you like. Anyway Singapore is so small you can go anywhere very easily and the public transport is first-class so no worries there.
In terms of what to do, just grab a stack of brochures at the airport or at your hotel, it's all in there.
3-5 days is more than enough for Singapore, after that you might get bored.
If you want to check out some bangkok style action (a very very watered down version) visit the Brix Bar in the basement of the Hyatt Hotel or tell the taxi driver to take you to Orchard Tower, over there go to Top 10 for sure.
