I have been to LOS about 15 times and PI about 7 or 8. I Like LOS more as I find the BG’s and FL in PI are after the money more than in LOS contrary to popular belief. Yes I agree the Beer in PI is cheaper but the BG and FL if you want good lookers 9/10 you pay more in PI I have found. Prices in Makati are a joke for 9/10’s. If you go to Angeles city you get a good amount of girls and they give you the chat but under those words it’s all the same. I speak Tagarlog and Thai quite well, all the BG’s say the same behind your back. I never let on that I speak there lingo till after they have dropped them selves in it. You will be so surprised they love you when you come back in after that. For me its always the LOS not PI, ok its only a bit more on the beer allot if you drink like a fish. Places to stay in Angeles city are not that good I have found. If you want a good place you pay through the nose in PI compared to Pattaya and Bangkok. The Police are far more on the take from the tourists in PI. PI is having allot more problems with its government and there are big bad rummblings in the south. My friend has lived in PI for 15 years, him and many of his friends are on the move soon. Besides all the bad things there are good things in PI. When you go to Angeles city go to Garfield’s last stand great managers they are such fun stop for a few drinks and they will get you a few on the house if your fun. Try Champaign there is a few girls that are not on stage, just walking around they are so sexy, they wear black short and I mean short dresses. Also Hollywood is a bit of fun very new. For the best looking bar girls I say Blue Nile gents club, the upstairs to Blue Nile. Place to stay in Angeles, I say the Orchid but if your middle of the road Maharaja (that’s wear I go) cheap well there are to many dives.
For a good group of people in Manila for a few beers close to the FL action and cheap I recommend the slouch hat good people in there, cheap rooms. If I can help any other members about LOS or PI feel free to ask. For a young lad I haven been around a bit. Last thing PI is such a dump compared to LOS, I am not a snob but some parts of LOS are bad but its hard to find clean nice bit of PI.

I worked in the PI for 3 years (1998-mid 2001) and I have been visiting Thailand for the last six years ( approx. 30+ trips to date).
In my opinion Thailand is the better place but is going backwards re. P4P. PI seems to be improving slightly.
The Filipinos tend to be more loyal and less clinical (businesslike?). This in part is due to the fact that they are more likely to be looking for marriage & a move abroad than your average Thai. The difference in cost for beer and women is not worth debating unless you are talking Burgos St. in Makati which is overpriced for what you get.
Personally, I think the Thais are better looking. They tend to be taller and with better figures. A lot of Filipinos are far too small for me. However, there are some beautiful Filipinas - a mix of malay/spanish/chinese features maybe - but you will have to look hard to find them in Angeles.
People who go to Angeles generally have two responses. Wow, what a fun town! or Wow, what a sh_thole! Either one is appropriate. The former is what you make it yourself, the latter is what it will always be.
In terms of infrastructure - Thailand wins hands down.
In terms of scams - I can't really comment. I have had no problems in either place. The beggars on Roxas Blvd. in Manila were very polite though..which I thought was nice!
Manila Airport is not for the faint-hearted first time visitor! If you are going to get ripped off then this will be the first place it will happen. Retain some perspective - it will only be for about US$10 max.
Thais are less emotional than the Filipinas on a day to day basis but each are equally deadly when their grip on their 'cash-cow' i.e. you is threatened.
I would recommend everyone spends at least one vacation in the PI to compare. For me, Thailand will always be home.

I think Phillippines now easily rivals Thailand. A year ago I would have said otherwise but Thailand has lost its edge. As for the girls not being as pretty in PI Im shocked at this as the girls Ive seen have often equalled those in Thailand and for sheer numbers of women available PI wins too..and all those go-go bars...phew! I prefer places to not be too polished off for the tourists. If you need your beaches there a plenty of gorgeous picture perfect beaches too and classy hotels to stay at. I think the phillippines is the best kept secret in asia at the moment and some people want to keep it that way to prevent the Thailand problems occurring here too but as said before it isnt to everyones tastes....it all depends on how package holiday inclined you are.
...speaking of which..has anyone noticed the growing size of the Dubai thread???..will be stopping off here next week..sounds amazing too.

Given a choice I always would like to go for a Philipino girl in compare with a Thai girl. PI girls are certainly better looking, more sexier than Thai ( In my opinion ), good in bed, more like a lover..... speak good english and can be any one's life partner. Thai girls normally dont have sizeable natural tits which attracts men instantly. Plus, I have experienced at least two occassions that PI girls have much better "suction power " when a man's cock goes in. Has any one experienced with a Thai girl? Please let me know as well.

Perhaps it’s just me going to the wrong place and the wrong time. I am in LOS in feb might do a quick trip to PI to see friends. I will tell forum when I get back what I think. I agree that the PI girls seem a lot smaller in size and being 6.3ft I don’t like them too short. A good friend of mine over there told me that if you go to some of the southern areas there are some real stunners there that have allot of the old Spanish blood in them. I also think that the size of the melons on the ladies is smaller in PI. Can anyone give me a good place to go to in Manila that has some reel babes for the night but dose not want a huge price, and a nice 4 star hotel there that dose not want an arm and a leg for a closet for the night. If I try your suggestions I might change my mind about PI. Help me fellow members.

Bimlee do not believe everything you read. Though I do not doubt that there are herbs in Indonesia that are for that purpose, the name "jamu" applies to all herbal medicines in Indonesia. There are many types of jamu. The confusion in the west is understandable as many indonesian herbs are all called Jamu when marketed in the west.

UK Shaga, here's the best place for a first-timer since it's all under one roof and pretty safe.
It's called Edsa Complex. Just ask the taxi driver to got to Roxas (pronounced Rohas) Boulevard. The complex is just diagonally opposite to Heritage Hotel. It's got about 10-15 bars where one can easily find a nice girl. Barfine is 1,000 peso and the girls should be paid about 1,000-1,500 ST and about 2,000peso LT.
Bars to check out: Firehouse, Cotton Club, for starters.

Cool dude. Thanks. Have been quite a few times to PI but just never seen the light. Next time then with your info. I end up going to Angeles all the time, seeing the same old street. Got some good friends though, not so good good on the top looking flesh like I have found and love in LOS. I Will try your places and report back ASAP. Take it easy.
