You could be right, I'd call them and check first. And still keep my fingers crossed.
Don't think many people go there to begin with.
Once youre used to thailands excellent tourist infrastructure, Phils totally sucks.
For instance the route to get to Bora cay takes about 7 hours with about 3 changes of transport. Ferry to rickety bus to Banca. Flying is an option but exp. and who trusts those seaplanes anyway.
Its a bloody shame because the Phils is one of the undiscovered gems of tourism. They should send their guys to LOS for a crash course in how to create a tourist friendly environment.

Beauty is in the eye of beholder, Some of the most beautiful girl I know is phillipino, The quality of girl in KTV and Club is as good or better than equivalent club in Thailand. But be very careful, phillipino girl can be very possessive and jealousy when you become involoved with them.
As far as environment, Phillipino is not as sanitary as thailand, as many time I have gotten sick in Phillipine. (Disclaimer, most place I got sick is in the remote region of phillipine)
The price issue, on average I think the price might be slightly cheaper in phillipine. But, in some manila club the price is much more than in bkk (e.g. the bar fine in Pegasus club in Quezon city is 10,000 peso = 180USD)

In my opinion too, Philipino girls are prettier than Thai girls. More over all PI girls speaks good english, and they are more romantic in bed. Whereas Thai girls are more pro style in bed.
Bad part of Philippines are dirty, roads are not good.
Given a choice, I would prefer PI girls in Bangkok city.....

I’ve stayed in cell contact with an FBG I met in AC in March. It’s been a hoot just chatting with her about what’s happening in her bar. Who got barfined, who did a runner, why they did a runner. It’s well worth the 13cents per minute phone card. We usually talk about 4pm my time which makes it 2am her time. It’s a great way to wind down my day.
Her hilarious story was about returning to her province on the other side of Baguio for a huge Wedding. They butchered a Cow along with three Pigs for this Wedding. Everyone who ate the Beef got violently ill. That in itself is not funny…..the story she told about her cousin who got married and her wedding night was side splitting. She say’s they were both virgins, he was so eager for sex that even though the groom was sick and the bride was’nt he made every attempt to nail the bride that night. He failed miserably she says. She tells me about her aunt in the hospital, her brother in the hospital etc…recovering from food poisioning. Now I’m waiting for her to put the bite on me for money. She never did or does. We’ve had about 10 different phone conversations of varying length and not once has she asked for money. Her story about the drunk Korean businessman who barfined her was just as hilarious as her cousins wedding night.
She always ask when I return to the PI. She knows I have no time for a wife and I’m not looking. She’s pretty cool, stop by and chat with her. She works at Confetti’s, ask for Erma. She’s a 6, if she could lay off the pansit and adobo…..drop 15/20 pounds she’d probably be an 8. I’ll warn you that this girl can eat…..I’ve taken out allot of TG’s and this girl in one night ate more than the 50 plus TG’s I’ve been with combined. She told me that the more she ate the more horny she got. This was one horny girl, well worth putting on the old feedbag for.

Seems you pretty much nailed the difference betwen PI girls and Thai girls - PI girls get fat when they eat; Thai girls don't (on average - I've seen fat Thai girls too, obviously). MeThinks it's the filipina's spanish genes...

I have no problem giving that amount to a girl that needs more than I do and treats me good while I'm with her but for a bar fine..........NOPE!

Optimised my stay in Makati district for a week about 2 yrs ago with 5 different girls. Sadly they tend to be on the "dead fish" side. and they're not exactly cheap neither. Wish I knew my way around better to sample the real Manila.
Didn't waste any time on overly friendly girls in the bars, they say they'd come over after drinking the wallet out, and of course they mostly don't come.
Heard so much about Djakarta, yet to be verified.

I go to PHI allot as I have friends over there. There are many places like NANA and places like Pattaya, but I find the girls normaly way to young and to small, shoter than Thai girls also I have fallen for a trick the girls there do and so have a few of my friends. The girls there from my experiance will try more to trick you into giving you money. 3 of my friends have had to pay off police etc. Horror storys. But I do like it and its a great place for a break from Thailand where you can still get good p4p. I say keep away from it as a full time stay and if you go there for a rest go to Angeles city, not so many tricks there. Price well in Angeles its cheeper than in Thialnd but in Manila/Makati its more expensive thatn Thailand especialy if you do not keep your whits about you, like in Edsa complexe the lady drink of the month which is a class of oronge juice costs you the same as 300bt, you do not get that in NANA or Patpong.

I am heading to PI in July (have to go for a wedding). It is my first trip to PI. Have been to LOS on many occassions. Just so you know my tastes, I tend to avoid Nana and Patpong, I usually meet girls at CM2 or Q-Bar. I am a member at Club Orbit and sometimes go to Pegasus. I am willing to pay well if the girl is extreeeemely beautiful. So where should I go in PI? My friends are putting me up at the Shangri-la Hotel in Makati - is that girl friendly? Where are the most beautiful girls, and what will it cost? Any info greatly appeciated.

Depend on your taste, the most beautiful girl IMHO is in the G club, They are many mega G club in Quezon city (e.g. Pegasus, classmate, Lexus, etc..) There is also the Phil KTV chain. They have seven mega Ktvs all over the city. Depend on your nationality, there are also different club cater to japanese, taiwanese and korean clients.
The closest p4p complex near shanri-la in Makati is Burgos street. Which is similar to patpong.
Try manilatonight website, they have an active forum talk about nightlife in Manila
