What my darling Mercy wanted to tell me and what Mama Linda now told me was, that Mercy was pregnant and expecting a kid from me. I said, what, oh, nice, f***, I did not know about this, why did she not tell me about it, why did I leave her and I have to find her. I went out to the backyard to clear my mind and thinking what has happened, somehow I have expected something like this. Among my first questions was, was she f***ing somebody else that me while being together and could I really be sure that I am the father and why did she go away. There was mixture of too many questions and sadness running in my mind leaving no room for happyness.
This was all too much for me, I was close to collapse and I could not see the reason why she could not be here and have waited for me. Mama Linda could not give me an answer to this and neither to why she was giving up so easily on Mercy after linking up us in the first place. She said that shortly after I left to Indonesia it was found out that Mercy was pregant and that she had left for the province. The last thing that one of the BG heard of her was once seen in the company of her what she called her new boyfriend in Club Circus in Cebu City.
I would have been ready to take my responsability and plan a future together with Mercy, but she was not there. I went to look for her in the places I thought she would frequent in Lapu Lapu City and in Cebu City, but I did of course not find her. Did she really always go back to the province, when she claimed to do so...? Did I spoil a province girl and helped her to discover what money she can get by linking up with the right expats or tourists?
In the end Mama Linda said to me, Bandit my alien son better you forget about her, she is no good girl, do not go to the province to find her and we should leave it to this. Why I have never found out, we did avoid to talk about this in the future and she never tried to link me up with another girl. I did not have any hard feelings towards Mama Linda, she cared too much for me and might have been a reason behind this all. I was only disturbed that she felt that responsible for me to take away a decision that should have been mine.
Back at the beach in Bohol I was warmly welcomed by everybody, could move back to my little house, locate and catch my doggie at the beach who looked sleazy as he was eating too many shrimps and got my motorbike back. During the next three months, which proved to be my last working ones in the Phils I was working very hard, saved a lot of money, stayed at the beach almost all time, did rarely ever visit Mama Linda, tried to forget about Mercy and f***ed around even more than before, but without falling in love. Even today I am still thinking about all this sometimes, I have no bitter feelings, but cannot understand what has happened to me, why all my happyness had to end so strange.
I do not know what happened to Mercy, if she has even given birth to our kid and who is called daddy by the little one who is very possibly a bandit, too...

Great story man......possibly the best I have read on this forum. I feel for you also. I have a daughter back in the states that I have never seen. Her mother vowed to never let me see her right before I moved to LOS. I drink many a beer thinking of what she might look like, and end up sloppy drunk and pass out hoping to see her in a dream.

It is really a nice and definitely touching story. I may not have the kind of experience but I do find hard to part with someone you love and some how, the feeling is always there whenever you are reminded by dreams.....

I know all too well what your saying there bro. But in my experience, if this mama linda said for get her she's no good girl, let it burn in your mind deeply bro. She's probably right. Nothing harder than to Know you may have a kid somewhere and cant find it. However at the risk of seeing Mercy, maby you should try... You may have something better to offer that child, given the life of the phillippinos. Of which I mean no offence by...

this is a scary story!!! same happened to me 3 years ago. My FIL GF told me she is preagnant. That was a week of thinking, headache, sommitment(?), love. I think I consider myself lucky that it was a "false alarm" so I got spared of the consequences,
But I do not envy you of that time brother!!!!!
