Has anybody travelled in this airline (Zest Air) from MNL to Clark? Their round trip fair is 700PH. How about the safety record? Their departure time from MNL is good but arrival to MNL from Clasrk is 10PM. May be OK if some hotel in Clark has late check out policy.
What are the other best bus services from MNL to Clark?

now factor in getting to and from the airports - time, cost etc
why dont u just get the hotel car to pick you up
plenty of hotels in angeles do a pick up from manila for like $50
door to door direct, takes less than 2hrs driving
now do 45mins to airport, check in, wait in lounge, 30 min flight, land, bags, taxi etc etc
up to you
and its not being flash or cheap - but for a few quid / $ more u can be driven door to door, listen to your own cd, watch dvd, stop at any mcdonalds jbee etc etc
and see the nlex greenery once past the first toll
then as u drive through angelese u can remind urself why u came!

Personally, I think a car/taxi/bus from MNL to Angeles is brutal, and I had trouble hooking up with the car that was supposed to be arranged by a Angeles hotel (I waited about 90 minutes and took a cab instead). The first hour of the ride (or sometimes more) is gridlock trying to get through the city of Manila. One thing you will find out is why so many Philipinas want to get out of there.
If you are not already at the MNL airport, that is a different story and probably best to take a cab, etc.

And leave plenty early from Angeles if you have a flight out of Manila, It's a horrible experience either way, good place to have some desperate flippers rob and/or mug you while you're stuck in traffic, a bus would be safer, you may not move one inch for 30 minutes or more
If you talk to Westerner's on your flight over, chances are good you'll find other people going to A.C., split the cab fare and have back up, dress down, look like a bum and hide anything valuable

I can only speak on my own personal experience heading to airport, the traffic came to a complete stop in the slums of Manila which is a massive area, angry crowds {drivers & passengers} were getting out of their cars, a lot of them realizing I was a Westerner were giving me the stink eye, my driver sensed trouble also, he managed a turn into the 'burbs' taking side streets late at night not really knowing where he was taking me anymore
About an hour of touring some vey hostile looking people and neighborhoods we approached the airport, I learned a whole new meaning to the word desperation,
Somebody also robbed my room of a $100 bill while I was sleeping 'alone' in a A.C. hotel
That was one trip, a second one a year later, no problem
Although I've never been, I think the L.A. Cafe is a better idea, may try that in March and meet a cute little flipper I've been chatting with from Adult Friend Finders
I like a little adventure but no more A.C. for me

I went to AC once and was not impressed. Very little to do during the day. Only thing there to do is whoring and most of that is at night. AC: hotels, food, girls, and things in general are very low quality. I now just stay in Manila.

Isn't that the best reason to go there?
I've lived in Manila and whored it up in AC (well, I guess I whored it up in Manila big time too), Manila is a little more refined whereas AC is raw, they work well together, when you get sick of one, you can go for the other.
Right about now, I could use an AC session for a few days!
