I will be visiting Manila in Mar-Apr with my girlfriend who is a filipina. We stayed at her place (which is in Makati) during my last visit and would have prefered the same this time. However, there are many guests arriving and to cut a long story short, we will be staying in a hotel for atleast 3 days.
I expressed my desire to do some barhopping. Although this is her place, she isnt very much familiar with all the bars and is also intereted to do the same. I have heard interesting comments about bars like Stardust and Queen's castle in Quezon avenue (nude shows), and would like nothing better than visiting them. But this place is very far from her place in Makati.
Now to the real question. Are there any interesting bars in Makati which would be worth my time, where a girl can visit as well? This will be a 'look only' trip. I would need to book rooms in a hotel nearby as well, keeping in mind that this girl would be my future wife. I dont want to piss her off.
I have to admit I am not familiar with the locations in Makati, but she did mention that we should try be close to Ortigas.

A long street much like in Thailand where you have go go clubs, regular clubs, restraunts, etc.... lots of hotels in the area... not as crazy as Nana or Cowboy, but a good time.
What cracked me up was when I went out with some locals who we do business with and they took me to the locals clubs.... So we are in private rooms having fun with the girls and it struck me that their English was very good and you notice they are Catholic.... crosses around their necks, etc..... we forget that english is very common there..... But keep on the look out as crime is rampant.

Yes Burgos is definitely worth a look & safe to go with a Girlfriend. Go see the Dancing shows in Stardust & Jools, both very good & not sleazy!
The Quezon City Bars at the cheaper end are downright sleazy (up to you) & not of the class (555) of Cowboy etc. The High End ones have the best looking Girls But are very pricey!

Isnt stardust located in quezon avenue? And is jool located in burgos street? What is the scene in these? I am still thinking if I should take the risk of taking her to the sleazier bars. The quality of girls wouldnt make any difference as I will have my girlfriend with me all the time.

Stardust & Jools are both in/near Burgos. Stardust is around the corner from Jools perhaps 25-30M from Burgos (just up from Ringside). Stardust & Jools are both owned by the same guy(s) but Jools has a more Las Vegas type Dance show. Neither are Go Go's in the Thai sense!

If you go to Airforce One, you should go down to Flight 168, their in house MP. Spent a great 90 Minutes with one of the best looking Asian Girls I have ever met recently, lots of eye candy in very good rooms, plus Happy Hour before 7pm most nights!

good refferal biif..... I was only there for a while before we hit other places.... but I do remember how good looking the girls were.... I would say the girls here as a group were far better looking than any place I have been to in los.

Thanks for all the tips guys. Now all I need to do is get there. I have passed on the tips to my gf and let her do the booking. I do not want to get involved, will hope for the best. Nevertheless, we can always drive around.
I have read a bit about places like Don Pedro and Phoenix, which are supposed to be full service hotels. Any reports on these?

Don Pedro is just around the Corner from Stardust (in a alleyway parallel to Burgos), its no bad, rooms a little run down but the Girl Quality very good. That said had an almost Starfish (this can happen anywhere & one of the only Filipino Starfishes I have had!) like experience there. Still for a Mp its not bad but NOT up to Flight 168 standards!
