Not sure what you mean by economy. No hotel in Hong Kong would be classed as really cheap, but have a look on the internet for Cosmopolitan or Wharney. Plenty of nightlife. Girlie bars will be expensive but there are FL'rs at Neptune 2, Fenwicks, Dusk Til Dawn (all in Wanchai) and also a place called Boracay (speak to mamasan Berna). ST rates are all negotiable but don't expect much, if any, change out of HK$1000. ST hotels from memory are about $300-$400 for a couple of hours. Endless variety of food -- good Indian and Thai places, plus Vietnames, Indonesian, Chinese and Western.

I found the Cosmopolitan hotel fine and would recommend it. The Wharney is closer to the bar area so that is something else to consider for that hotel.

The last few times in Hong Kong I've stayed overnight in short time hotels on the Kowloon side. The rooms are tiny, but I figured that all I was doing was sleeping, so it didn't matter and the price was right, around 300 HK as I remember. After visiting many 141 places I think next time I stay in Hong Kong I will stay in the guest house located in the Fuk Kuh Mansion (sp?) in TST.
For you sexual needs maybe visit sex141.com and take down names and addresses, then visit the buildings, there are much more girls than listed on that site.

The scene is segmented:
Kowloon: lot of Karaoke and Saunas to be entertained, but it is much easier to be an asian. As a westerner not easy to get good service.
141, 161: everywhere, just go to the webside, 161 shows foreign language capabilities of the girls, but body language is enough most cases. normally non GFE and quick, but great if you are just horny and want a professional release.
"FL" bars as mentioned above: Fenwicks, Laguna, Neptune 2, all in Wan Chai. Tons of girls. Fenwicks: mostly philipinas and latinas, as some africans. Laguna many indnesians, but sometimes just empty. Neptune: biggest variety of girls from Thailand, latin countries and philippines.

Hong Kong - Eleven million of Hong Kong's highest denomination bank notes have been withdrawn from circulation after a counterfeit scare, a top official said Tuesday.
More than half of the 1,000 Hong Kong dollars (US$128) notes issued by HSBC between 2000 and 2002 have been withdrawn from circulation after the discovery of hundreds of high-quality fake notes.
The withdrawal amounted to half the old series banknotes in circulation and has led to a significant drop in HK$1,000 notes, Hong Kong Monetary Authority chief executive Joseph Yam was quoted saying by government-run radio station RTHK.
Many shops and restaurants in Hong Kong have refused to accept $1,000 Hong Kong notes since the discovery of nearly 2,000 bogus bills earlier this year, insisting instead on lower denomination HK$500 or HK$100 notes.
Twelve people from China and Vietnam were arrested in March and 700 high-quality fake notes with the dates 2000 and 2002 seized, but the bogus notes continue to appear, although only 69 were discovered in May.
Monetary officials refused calls to withdraw all $1,000 Hong Kong bills at the height of the counterfeiting dilemma, saying that to do so would seriously undermine confidence in the former British colony's currency.
Hong Kong's bank notes come under intermittent assault from counterfeiters in China who infiltrate the wealthy former British colony's money supply with increasingly sophisticated fakes.
Experimental hi-tech plastic 10 Hong Kong dollar bills are being introduced later this year, partly in an attempt to make it more difficult for counterfeiters to forge the currency.
