I drove opast it several times recently....and the lights have been off at various different times of the evening. Looked quite lively a few weeks ago.
Closed already?..or maybe not fully open....anyway...won't be getting my custom.
It's not on soi 39, but a sub soi, the one on the right about 100m before L'Opera restaurant. about 150 metres in. Has valet parking if you just carry on a bit further.

Not even a Lookie at the Nookie Yurune?
Well one of the requirements in the USA Spearmint Rhino is that they actually have girls that know how to dance, so maybe they having a hard time finding canidates from the usual Bangkok shuffle brigade of NEP and SC.
It will be interesting to at least take a look to see what they have to offer. Maybe a next stop after Toxic during this month's RT.

I suggest that you wear far more clothes than a T-shirt or cap. You don't want to give a bad first impression of the BTF!

Ok boyz.....i'll tell you what Spearmint Rhino is!!
Its a Coyote bar!! but of the worst kind! it looks like all the girls from Soi 33 bars that got recruited end headed over too Rhino. With the recent opening of Resort Square on Ekamai....any good ones from Rhino went to Resort Sqaure. Dont waist your time..... this place sucked!!! girls were average and price the same as other Coyote bars! Atmosphere was slow....more of a piano type.
The real Spearmint Rhino in California is the greatest Stripper bar ever!! had some of the finest girls conducted very nude lap dances on my face!! but of course its quite a few bucks....20 us dollars per 2 min dance!! yikes!!
the owner of the thailand spearmint saw the website of the real spearmint rhino and decided to copy the name and logo!!!
go figure!!

I was worried they might be importing a few of the American practices along with the brand. I saw a couple of times in Pattaya last August where (usually Jap) punters were slippinng cash into boots and garters. Also, I think it was the Shark club where girls dance on tables and expect a tip at the end of the song.
Not a Cheap Charlie but..... things can get expensive if these practices spread. (800THB for a 2 min. lap-dance - YIKES!!)

What's the point of having a "proper" strip club in Bangkok when you can go down the street and get your knob polished for about the same price. Strip clubs are for prudish countries like the U.S. where seeing a booby is a sacred thing to behold and men will pay hundreds of dollars in a single night to maybe get the opportunity to have one shoved in their face for 2 minutes.
