Certainly it was gratifying to see how the majestic presence of Lolita's in Patpong II was so short-lived andd gently snuffed out. It just confirmed my belief in the fact that SOL is so firmly entrenched and established over the years that a little competition is of no worry to them
However, I am slightly amused by the recent introduction in the Star of Light of uniforms for most days.

Recent innovation at Star o Light.
Say Fridays, it's Red tops and black pleated mini-skirt.
I think Mondays are light green tops and white pleated mini-skirt, and so on.
There are still one or two days in the week in which the girls can wear mufti - (?) their own choice of street-wear, but then that is only really for wearing at the
table out the front to sit laugh, giggle, eat and oozingly tempt a casual passer-by to taste their wares.
Guys with colour fixations will have no trouble having to wait for the day of the week for their colours to come up since the wearing of the particular uniforms of the day is not compulsory either inside the bar or during the provision of service.
Maybe this trail run was sparked by the recent but brief existence of Lolita's in Patpong 2 before they burnt themselves out like a giant dwarf and let the Star of Light shine on in all its simple, quiet glory.

If the SOL management extended the marketing idea to selling T-shirts to the customers, I’m sure the brothers here can come up with a few ideas of what they might be able to put on the front of the T-shirts
( or the back).
Short, concise wording might appeal,as opposed to a long paragraph that may be aimed to win over members of the English Teaching Community. It has more impact.
The T-shirt could come in a number of different colours.
Guys may be tempted to suggest lewd or coarse wording which somehow detracts from the appeal. Far rather the wording is something innocuous, making the T-shirt an item of clothing that would be appropriate to wear at any function, including your granny’s birthday or your son’s. swimming pool party for his High School friends, and having read it, people would not be the wiser.

I have to say it's interesting to see, after reading the last 9 months of posts, what controversy the SOL can create. To each his own. I went there on one of the Good Doctor's tours and I am glad I saw and experienced it, although not my cup of tea, kind of one of those tourist things one does once. A true dive bar but one that should be experienced at least once. A little like kissing the Blarney Stone in Cork, Ireland only to discover that the locals piss on it daily.
Anyway, I like the place and thoroughly agree that it is the lowest common denominator, but what the hell.
