I have never set foot in Tina's bar, but as we all know, one is always on the hunt for new places to go to and relies on fellow forum members to share their experience so that one can discover new great places.
Having read this thread, I can imagine that Tina's bar is a nice little bar on soi 22 where the girls are not the hottest in bangkok but not the most unappealing either. MO is, you go in get a drink, buy ladies drinks in exchange of some company and conversation (that can eventually lead to a BF and ST).
I guess what puzzles me is, why is Tina's bar in the "Speciality Bars" section of BTF? what seems to be so special about this place?

Nic, there is another thread in the bar forum. I have no idea why there are two. LY has made it clear on both threads he ain't goin' back! Like Joe says, it happens to us all.
Dumsoda- Man, that is a hell of a lot of money! Unless you know your way around China it is expensive and I admit even after 3 years I don't really know my way around. But I am thinking more like 1000 RMB for some pretty good action. Some days you are the windshield and some days you are the bug!

Being the incorrigible reprobate that I have reluctantly at first had to admit to myself for these many years, I was led to do the rounds in Bangkok when I first arrived.
This lasted for some considerable time ( it may still be going on ) during which, I found jewels in amongst the thousands of pebbles and also got stung quite a few times.
In retrospect, I realise that I succumbed to writing off places where I had got my wallet severely ripped out.
But after a while, re-visiting some of those places I found that I had made a mistake in judging the place by one or two visits or by one or two vultures disguised as service providers, and that places change and staff change and even if situations haven't changed at all, one can, on occasion, still find an individual girl of charm and beauty and generosity disguised as a service provider who can brighten your day and re-affirm your belief in the fact that although there are scum and robbers in this world, it is still a beautiful life.
Although, Tina's may still remain the same. don't be put off. Just know yourself.
Easy for me to say that. Those of you who know me, know that I am still trying.
Dumsoda, sorry to hear of your misfortune. You should have stayed in Bangkok. But then, you know that.

I may be wrong, but Tina's for reason got a rep of hj's, bj's and dry or wetf***s on the stools and in the booths. This still goes on there to some extent, though LY's post seems to indicate not to completion. My own experiences there, 4yrs back, also not to completion. However, friends of mine have been brought to completion in there. So...
In my estimation, with completion it is a Specialty Bar. Without, it is just like many other places where you get a little feely. You would tip in any of these to some degree, I would hope. The girls drink faster here than in some other places though, in my experience. But that's to be expected I guess, if they keep touching you. Sort of forces a decision, I guess. Unless you want to hang out all night getting touched (not to orgasm) and buying drinks. Expensive, but could be worse, as they say.
