Results of my holiday visit:
Due to complications in freeing myself from the kung-fu grip of my very suspicious (clearly appropriately so) wife, I could only get there at 2PM on - well heck, not sure what day it was, maybe the 28th?
I think I f***ed up on the instructions, mainly because I am so damned shy. I went in immediately, and was pounced upon by N**g. Now, for those who speak Thai, it's the word for "younger person".
We quickly moved to a discussion of impending oral pleasures. I mentioned I was interested in a 1-hour slow soft sucking session, on the couch. I was told this was not possible - only 20 mins on the couch, as there would be a threat of the cops coming in. She and the mamasan wanted me to take her to short time hotel, and I said that I know of other folks that have not had to do that.
Well, what became clear was that she feared I would not play her for the extra time. I told her that I absolutely would pay her for the extra time. So the agreed base charge would be B1,400, and yes, they would allow it on the couch.
So, with my pants neatly folded on the couch, a towel I bought at Foodland under my ass, and N**g between my legs, the fun began. Oodles of very slow soft sucking, licking, ball sucking...an excellent effort. For one hour, she took no break whatsoever. After about 10 minutes, her top was removed, allowing me to enjoy her ample bosom.
After 50 minutes, it became clear I couldn't hold out much longer. I think the happy moment came around 55 minutes. I sat on the couch nearly paralyzed for 5 minutes, then realized that they probably didn't want me sitting there bottomless for so long, so out came the antibacterial hand soap and a quick cleaning session. I joined N**g at the bar for some beverage and polite talk, discussing her child, whether she liked Bangkok, usual banter given my horrible Thai. She confirmed what others said - get there when they open, and you can really have a great time - the cops are not a concern and the girls are fresh.
I had to run, so I tipped her B1,000 - she did a great job, and hopefully that amount was an appropriate compensation level.
In retrospect, I really wish I had gotten there early, and as well, had taken my time in identifying the girl and making my preferences known.
BTW there were some truly unattractive ladies there - but I also noticed a couple that were truly stunning.

I had mentioned in my FR that I would try to post the layout of the bar, but haven't been able to do so until now. I had a fairly boring day at work today, and (mis) used the time to plot a line diagram of the bar.
Anyways, for all those who have never been to SOL before, here is the diagram. I believe I have included pretty much everything, as best as I can recollect.
As posted many times before, the bar is quite small with the toilet taking 1/4th of the far end. BJs as well as FS take place in areas colored grey, blue and red (I havent noticed other areas being used).
If anyone finds any mistakes, please correct me. I shall amend and repost.

Thanks guys for some good entertaining posts.
What pleasantly surprised me a few months ago was when I learnt that the girls' cut of the basic 700 baht bj charge has been raised to 500 baht, meaning that only 200 baht goes to the bar. This is a good thing and raises my opinion of SOL management.
Now-a-days I usually find myself passing SOL once or twice a week at non-busy times and since it doesn''t really matter to me if anyone else is in the bar or not at the time, these non-busy times give me a greater choice of ladies and a more relaxed atmosphere.

After many bkk trips I did the SOL bar this week and was not disappointed. Sure does not pay to by shy in this bar. The attention in otherwise very commercial PatPong is very pleasant. First visit was BJ and solid reaming out in the rather small short-time room with girls coming and going. Second time just let it all out on the sofa - hey y only live once, most enjoyable time for 700b (FS 1000B) good rates for bkk for short and sweet times. Will drop in again tonite (weds) as wife is chatting to friends in Soi7.... lucky me. If you are a porn-star-wannabe-exhibitionist, this is the bar for YOU.
on the way out two girls on two guys like piston steam engines. Woo frikkin hoo. toot toot.

You guys arent making it any easy for me to stay sane. I yearn to be back there. I am presently neck deep in work toiling 14 hours a day for the upcoming Grand Prix 2 in the middle east. Maybe I should stop using this forum...
