I've read something about Club One (Suk soi 1), but don't know if it was on this board or another one.
If I can recall that it has multipule levels of entertainment, whatever that means ... 
One of those levels should become an eden like experience, but i don't know if it is already in full swing.

Hi,
will be going there tonight and see what all the ruckus is about. I checked out their website, seems updated, but still lacking. One thing that did spark my interest was that they have some BDSM equipment build into the room. I wonder.......................
Anyway the place looks nice and clean (from the pictures) and I will find out tonight if this club is worth it. I will write a detailed experience report tomorrow.

And the first thing he said was that Club One is NOT an Eden-like place.
Unfortunately that was almost the last thing he said.
And not a single word about the little teaser he dropped above about supposed BDSM equipment on the walls at Club One.

What I am wondering is:
Given all the highly focused but obviously bullshit flaming of Eden, which was/is so disruptive, doesn't it seem likely that someone or some people had an ulterior motive?
The very title of this thread suggests that this is the case.
And that's despite the recent demurrer.
If so that's bad karma for a new place to try to bootstrap itself by tearing down (or attempting to tear down) someone else's established enterprise.
Having been ourselves on the receibing end of such ill intentions from a former staffer who went off on her own -- I know how Marc feels.
Those attempts failed and probably to some extent backfired.
There's a lesson here, for someone(s) to learn, but maybe they are too obtuse.
