Gents,
Have to pass through KL on transit - any recommendations for things to do at the airport. I hear there's a VIP lounge for 20US including food, drinks, computers etc - anyone got any details??

Depending on the time you have to spend.
When I fly from BKK to Phuket on visa run I book hotel for a few hours at the airport.
You do not have to clear immigration etc., the hotel is within the concours.
My recommendation is sleep, you will need your energy later........

Thanks Manuel.
Its a run to Sri Lanka from BKK . 3-4 hr stop over on the way, longer on the way back (maybe 12 hrs - in which case i will be leaving the airport to check out a notebook at some place called airport plaza).
The return run gets in during the wee wee hrs, I was hoping the VIP lounge will be 'sleepable'.
Energy wise I will be sapped both ways, partying before I leave BKK, in SriLanka, and on my return:

on the stop over...you are definately leaving the airport? 12 hrs? anything longer than that?
i am not sure about the VIP lounge but it did not seem like it was opened when i was there...perhaps i should've taken a better look then, can't really comment more though.
if you have a more time perhaps you might be wanting to go into KL as there are a lot more places in which i would think you can get a better deal on notebooks (if you intending to get one).
if timing is all right...i would be able to meet up with you too...as i am here. how about that?...then i would be able to take you around to them places to have a look see look see...and if you are game for it...well why not? a mans got to do what a mans got to do!
