who has been recently to Shekou area and who can give some advices regarding good locations for finding girls, good bars, the ones to avoid.

I'll be staying at the Ming Wah in Shekou next week. Will you still be in town? I travel to Shekou every couple of months, so I can help you out. The best place to go is the V-bar at the crowne plaza hotel in Shenzhen. The price of the girls there is more expensive though. About 800rmb to take one out of there. In shekou, you can go to bar street behind Casablanca restaurant and take one for 300rmb. the quality is less there, but you can find some decent ones. Watch out for the drinks there, it can get expensive if you are buying drinks for the ladies.

300RMB in shekou is for ST or LT ?
Any good place in bar street to have some beers before making choice to go to actions places ?

If you want NaNa, you will be sadly disappointed. But the advice I gave before is the best advice I can give. 300 from bar street is ST or LT your choice. I've never kept one LT. My brother did though. I dont do it because the girls cant speak english so I dont like to have them around for anything other than some sex then hit the door.
all bars on bar street are the same. walk down it, find a girl you like and go in.
They do not knock on your hotel door in shekou. I've had that happen in Beijing though.

Living in Hong Kong, I head over to Shekou every second week for two nights and guess you could say I'm pretty well known in many of the bars there. A word of warning about some of the hotels. The five-star places like Nan Hai, Ming Wah have a good reputation among the girls as being girl-friendly. But they do sound a note of caution about Hai Tao, Honlux and a couple of others, saying some of the late night employees are actually undercover policemen. So ST is the way to go although there is a bit of a clamp on visitors after midnight to 1am. Walking back from the bars to the hotel anytime after 11pm and you will be accosted by up to 30 prostitutes offering massage, jiggy jig. Settle on a price there and then. Generally it's HK$200 to $300.
For anyone who likes Indian food, I can recommend the Tandoori restaurant at the Hai Tao Hotel. McCawley's irish Pub has some good food and the outdoor tables at Seagull restaurant is a good spot for snacks and having a perv. Just behind Seagull is a massage parlour where a happy ending is pretty much guaranteed. I got one of the bar girls to come back to my hotel to give me a massage which lasted all of 30 mins and no happy ending. I gave her $120 and she was not overly happy.
At most of the bars it's case of almost anything goes, but, yes, it can get a bit expensive if you are the only customer and eight to 10 girls are giving you their undivided attention. A lot of the bars have dark corners for a bit of special attention and generally most of the girls will wait outside while the remaining one or two will be bringing a smile to your face. Drinks for the ladies are HK$40 a pop and beers are HK$25. Shenzhen is a lot more expensive. But Shekou is pretty laid back and either place is a cheaper alternative to Wanchai or Tsim Sha Tsui.

That's a very good analysis. I just left a few days ago and am back in Jakarta. Jakarta is far better than Shekou/shenzhen normally. But during Ramadhan, I'd take Shekou any day. I rarely venture down to bar street anymore. I hate the walk of shame taking those girls back to my hotel. so I had one of them give me a BJ at the bar while I had my beer and another girl watched the door. No stunners on bar street this trip, that's for sure. But always an enjoyable stay.

Where is located this bar street versus the Ming Wah hotel. I heard about 'La Terrasse' place. Anyone has experiences it or other advices?
V-bar is good but a bit far from Shekou

Don't know about a decent map of Shekou but if you look at this one it will give you an idea. Ming Wah Hotel is not shown in the English map but bars are in the bottom part of the map. From the ferry terminal walk along the footpath on right hand side for maybe 150-200 metres. The road swings to the right. Walk another 100 metres and there are bars on both sides of street. You will see Haitao Hotel and the land beside the hotel will take you to more bars. Make sure you have renminbi to your bill in the bars as they are no longer keen on HK $ because value of the renminbi has jumped.
