I was in PP for five days in late November and I had a great time, but it also confirmed for me why I prefer thailand, and why thailand is the amazing, wonderful place that it is.
There are a lot of upsides to a visit to PP, cheap prices, late closing hours, raunchy bars like la cercie and sophies where the service was very good and relaxed, nice mix of khmers and viets, the heart and walkabout are good places to stay out too late at.
But I have one big complaint. Every time I took a FL LT she was a starfish (and at the bar she might have had all the moves) and even sometimes made excuses (airconditioning) that she couldn't sleep there, and off she would go an hour or two after arriving. (I normally like to sleep off some of my drinking and have a go in the morning) It was very frustating, because I had gotten all of the normal signals that I rely on in Thailand. But they didn't seem to mean anything there. By the way, all of them were cambodian. I meant to take a Viet, but somehow it never happened.
Anyhow, the attitude was shockingly bad. I have only run into these kind of girls in thailand once or twice, or so rarely that I forget those instances among the hundreds of GFE experiences (and girls who just LOVE sex) in thailand. So, while there were numerous very good looking girls in PP, I am now very sceptical of going with any of them. But the smaller bars like Sophie's and several others did make up for it. Much better attitude, and a kind of nostalgic, dirty throwback to another era, which you don't find as easily in Thailand now that it has been cleaned up and professionalized to the extent that it has.
I would still go back to PP, and I would still take a FL, but I would require a lot more signaling that she likes me and is willing to please me (including have a more direct conversations about what I expect, which normally I don't bother with in thailand). Otherwise, I will just enjoy the eye candy and stick to the self-contained bars for pleasure.

Quim, I to was there in Cambodia, for 2 weeks in NOV. I had the same problems with the ladys, and I was told by many "x-pats" that many of them are "high" on "yaba" (can't sleep). I have woken up in the morning at the "Walkabout", and have seen many of th same ladys still up paying pool for days on ended, with no sleep!!! (some times in the same cloths!!)
There "IS" no other place on earth but good old "Pattaya"!!

I have to agree with Quim and pudpuler. The girls service is so-so. I have not noticed any drugabuse. I think it has more to do with the not so voluntairy business these girls are in. I have had some "freelancers" from Martini's and their attitude was much better then the other girls, but still not as good as the usual thai service.
Some of the girls in the brothels gave me a real feeling they were heavily pimped. So if they are forced labour then it is not very strange they give a poor performance.
I will go back but I will be more interested in the freelancer scene. Even tho some say there is (almost) no freelancer in cambodia.
Maybe an oldtimer could shed some light on the subject?

It is the same thing.... They closed the other domain since at the time KM11 seemed to be closed down for good. Also I assume they did not want to be associated with the supposed place that had underage girls. Which there was but not only of course.
