Hi guys back to the night at Martinies.
Well as I have said I was sitting on this plastic stool with this Viet Honey,after sittting there having a great feed that she orded, she asked me if I play Pool, ive said I`m not the best, she tells me we are going to the Walkabout hotel,I thought great close to were I`m staying.
Well so much about getting a Taxi out the front,she has dragged me out past the Taxi Maffia/motto Maffia
to out in the street,tells me to put $3.00 usd in my top pocket in case we get robed,hayl`s a street motto,she tell`s me that he has no pre arranged rip off points,
as maybe the ones waiting for a job.
Lit up a nervous ciga, buy that stage thinking shit am I being set up here, money in top pocket,un known motto driver ,thinking shit I`m going to be f***ed here
Driver tells me to get on,and I`m half pissed,
I get on and the next thing you know my new found Viet Freind jumps on,side saddle.
Of we go to the Walkabout,I tell the driver no sidestreets and keep the moto under lights,street lights
Yeh well Ive got this great looking Viet girl in her best clothes speaking Viet to me as I made out me not speak Vietnam ( I`m no VET, I`m a skip )
Now and then I would say something to her,she would say how you know, I listen, I tell her,she say you smart.
Well pull up out fo the front of the Walkabout hotel/bar
she junmps straight of the bike and sraight to the black board and plonks her name and mine,there are several viet girls there playing pool and wathing them they were
great,My tilltle Tirac told me it was turn,shit

Well I got cut off, I will add a bit more before the sex,
she was one of the best pol players for a female that i have seen.
I dont know about you guy`s but she let me keep my shorts on,I staid there for a couple of hours 4.00 a.m before we hit the sack.

This reminds me of something from my trip. Before travelling to Cambo, I read all the advice about not taking Motos after dark in PP, and followed it religiously. But I felt pretty silly taking a Taxi from the PP Intercontinental ONE FREAKING BLOCK from there to Martini's and back. 
Personally, I'd have preferred to walk such a short distance. But I guess all the stuff I'd read made me a tad bit paranoid. Was I taking things a bit too far? Would someone have jumped me so close to Martini's? Or could I have walked there and back safely, or at least saved a few bucks by taking a Moto instead of a taxi?

Hi Leaford,you did the rite thing, as while I was there a couple of westerners had been rolled in that area.
I always caught or used the same motto after that night coming back from Martinies or I would jump into a Martinies Taxi,still had a couple of Dollars in the top pocket,just in case.
Walking around in the daytime is o.k,its only at night
you dont walk around unless your with a group of westerners and take care at the end of the month as thats when the cops and soldiers have run out of money,they get paid monthly,$25 U.S.
They may stop you for an I.D check,to speed things up
to get away Donate $5. U.S for their time and smile a lot as this happened to me once.

Maybe so, but I don't think I'll make PP a regular destination as long as that's the case. Frankly, I much prefer walking around a new place. I just can't get the same sense of the layout of a town or city if I'm in a vehicle as I do navigating on my own two feet.
