Alrighty, as we approach the American Football season this thread should see some action over the course of the next few months 
For all you golf fans, the British Open is coming down to a playoff as the former great, 59 year old Tom Watson just bogeyed the 18th to go into the clubhouse tied with Stewart Cink!!
If he can pull it out, he will be the oldest person to win a major by something like 12 years...amazing thing to witness!
The playoff is about to begin, come on Tommy Boy

Oh well, it was fun to watch the almost 60 year old in serious contention with the young guys, at least until he totally imploded in the playoff

Man it turns out old Cinky is a native of the atl, which I didnt know, but still I would have like to have seen the old man make history.....
OK, my favorite part of the year is amoung us as American Football is about to start, and Jingjo I said no more betting so I will try my best to refrain...you should see me in Vegas brother 
But my bets on Florida and Tom Tebow winning it all again 100%!!!!!!!
You Big Ten and Big Twelve guys have zero shot this year...neither do my Dawgs 
I f***ing hate the Gators, but they will win it again...
Jingjo, if I were to bet, I would bet my house that Florida wins its 3rd national title in 4 years

I know I cant do this, but I call Vick if he gets picked up by some team
I know he is a stupid, stupid, guy that let his wealth overcome any kind of rational thought...
but he served his time and, in my mind, should get a second chance!
Hopefully, he has let that "thug" life go...if not then he deserves what he gets, but he did do his time and in my book he should get a shot at redeeming himself......
I think it will take a desperate team to hire him, but desperation might prevail....and some team will take him eventually...
I mean come on, the guy was exciting as hell to watch play, you never knew if it was gonna be an interception or a 40 yard scamper with every snap!
Just think a team like Pittsburgh...I mean their fan base will never leave them and Big Ben is in some trouble....or Seattle, he has a good history with the new coach, Jim Mora, and Hasselbeck is injury prone....but we will see!
But I gaurantee, he will attract attention and bring fans...more so for the potential ability than the PETA people....
