To take a one-off cult classic like 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' and do a remake of it.... and worse off use the producer of 'Glee" to direct it. God why???
Rocky Horror was a film that was of the right spirit, to the right audience, at the right time. The social, economic, and political conditions that juxtaposed to create this film do not currently exist and probably will never exist again. So How??
I believe that it is fool-hardy greed driving this effort that will break the original and leave shambles in its place .
The original is still being shown in theaters around the world to packed theaters and viewers now span across four generations. So instead of trying to 'catch lightning in a bottle' maybe they should digitize the original and re-release it.
What's next??? 'Gone with the Wind' with Affleck and Jolie in the lead roles ...
