Texas high school football supports in the most part the following colleges and universities:
University of Texas at Austin
Baylor University
Texas Christian University
Southern Methodist University
Houston University
Texas A&M university
Rice University
Texas Tech University
North Texas State University
Angelo State University
McMurray College
University of Texas in El Paso
I am sure I have missed more than a few on this list.
In addition, most of the Big 12 schools recruit extensively in Texas...Oklahoma (43), Kansas (31), Okla. State (53), Kansas State (35), LSU (16), to name only a few. The numbers in parenthesis are the numbers of players on each schools 2009 rosters that played high school football in Texas
In Texas, we call Oklahoma University the University of Texas in Norman. One of OU's championship teams several years ago had 20 of their 22 starters from Texas.
Alabama only has four Texas kids on their roster. Florida has 5.

The Saints pulled that one from their ass, which is like the 3rd close call for them. However, that is a sign of a champion.
Colts are a frekin' jugernaut and as it looks will be Colts and Saints with homefield advantage and the Vikes, Cincy, Chargers with a legit shot, but as they say "any given Sunday!"
The Falcons got a beat down from the Eagles and Vick. My sister and bro-in-law were at the game and said there were waaaay more Vick supporters than haters and the Dome went nuts when he ran for a TD and then passed for one!
Which doesnt say a whole lot for our fan base 
A funny note, the backup for Matt Ryan was seriously selling life insurance a couple years ago 
Ryan has turf toe, and Michael Turner a high ankle sprain and they are pushing for both to come back for the Saints game Sunday, but I figure let them sit and call this season a wash for the injury ridden Falcons

Loved the play by Meachum in stealing away the interception and running it back - very heads up.
Watched the Cowboy Game -horrible, you never know who is going to show up -they have no identity and always look uncertain on offense.
Will be in BKK for the Playoffs -Doubt any Bar will be open hopefully I can find a Hotel with ESPN - could you belive they didnt have the games on at the JW Marriot ?????
