So Urban Myer is retiring,
Florida is loosing Tebow and Meyer....f***...my money is on Alabama rocking it in the SEC, but at least my dawgs have a shot at the SEC Championship with him gone next year!!

yea, I saw that...maybe he will take a couple years off before going to the pro's or Notre Dame (if the Cincy coach screws the pooch)...
for Meyer, 2 national titles in 5 years is a pretty damn good resume 
Looks like the saints are rolling into the playoff's on a loosing streak and the Colts lost tonight as well....no perfection in 2009 
The Chargers and Philly are looking strong as they head into the final week 
This will be interesting as hell!!!!

I am gonna go back to your post way back when about how the Vegas odds makers get it so close every time...
This is my first year betting on this certain website, usually 10 to 20 bucks a game, although I got burned on the SEC Championship and I wont risk that shit again 
I didnt tell mrs atl what I put on that game, but she could tell I was very distraught..
I digress, your point comes 100% into play tonight with UGA V Texas A&M...I bet the under on 67 points, just 20 bucks...
anyway, the half time score was like 17 - 10 or something insignificant, and those points came after 0 points scored for a quarter and a half...and I was calling my buds telling them I wish I put it all on the under...
what the f*** happens, it is a TD bonanza in the 2nd half and I only won as the UGA coach chose to run the clock out and I covered by 3 points...
Those guys deserve their money, as they are usually spot on with their calls

Ok, I think I might have asked this awhile back but whatever....
For many of us sports is a dear part of our lives, as sad as that might sound to others, it is true 
If asked, what would you say is the best sports moment you witnessed (in person or TV) in your life thusfar?
Mine is the 1992 NL Baseball Championship game when and un-famous, 8th man Fransisco Cabrera hit a 2 out single in the bottom of the 9th inning against a pre-steroid Barry Bonds Pittsburg team to drive in a gimpy Sid Bream and he made a gimpy slide to beat the tag that sent the Braves to back to back world series...
I still remember Barry just sitting on his ass, with his glove over his face in the outfield asking "WTF, did that just happen?"
I was in a sports bar in Athens, GA and the place went nuts with beers being thrown in the air and people high fiving and hugging any stranger in the vicinity
