I have an account at Messenger, on this site. Since about ten days I cannot log in. I do get past the 'log in' part, but when I try to open my Inbox (or the Outbox or new PM), I get the following message:
Specific reasons for Inbox error:
Your password was wrong.
Do you want to access the forum help files?
Possible reasons for Inbox error:
Password Incorrect
Username incorrect
Has anyone else eperienced this problem? How to solve it?

Try logging out entirely from the forum itself then and logging back in, if you haven't already tried.

I've tried everything, but nothing works.
I am in touch with the Webmaster.
Also, after I log in to the Forum ("Thank you for logging in"), when I access 'Latest posts' and choose a thread, I am asked to log in again!
It is most frustrating!

Sounds like your browser is not accepting the cookies from the server properly.
Your security settings may be set too high, so it may not be storing the cookie. You could test this out by reducing the security setting.
Another possibility is that the cookie file could be corrupted. This could be fixed by deleting your cookies and logging on again.

Well, Internet Explorer I've given up on - I cannot use Amazon anymore. I log in and then I cannot even consult my wishlist.
I am now on Firefox and all seems fine.
Something to do with cookies maybe?

It has definitely to do with the cookie settings on your Internet Explorer. You see after deleting all of the cookies, you can't use Amazon anymore, because your browser is not accepting the cookies from Amazon. Anyway, good to know it's now fine.

you may want to go to Windows Updater see if you need any upgrades version IE-8 now 
under win explorers browser > tools > internet options > then all the way right tab under advanced try restoring defaults
best thing to use is a cache cleaner Google >
CCleaner
Firefox is a better browser
