Poseidon is absolutely safe. When you get there though, do check out the 3rd floor as well, as it is tempting to just choose a girl from the fishbowl right away. The difference would of course be the price.
Nana Plaza is fine. Since this is your first time, it would be wise to get a girl from a place, and take note of the number, in case there is an incident. Always check the girl in the hotel so that there is a record.

Newbie,
Just know that the Russian girls that you get back are freelancers, so just be a little cautious. Other than that, you could have good fun anyway. Then again, you should also be cautious with any freelancers that you take back anyway, I have heard of some people of who have lost their money and valueables.

Pussylover, if you get the Russians at CM2, they would offer you 2,000 - 2,500 for ST. 4,000 - 5,000 for LT. You can always try bargaining down if you like. I once met one on Soi 3, and she was offering 1,000 B for one shot.
supaporn, yep, they make more money there. It is not necessary that they look better. Some Thai girls go to Hong Kong too, and they make loads of money there, and actually the prettier TGs are the ones in BKK. Not too sure if this would be the same for Russian girls though (?). Don't know about the mafia connection though.

yeah, always the prettier girls in the homeland. here in Hawaii there are tons of asians, but you cannot compete against where their country of origin is. they are all too americanized here - wanting to be independent and knowing their rights. sometimes they just don't know when to shut-up. wish buddhism would take over the islands.
