normally dont like to go out during high season to NEP. A friend invited me this week to NEP I agreed and was asthonised about the number of japanese tourist in this area. They barfined the girls, same the world will go down.
Hope they dont destroy the price structure. Somebody here with same views?

I think too many people at too "salty" towards anyone they feel might raise the price structure. And .. the Japanese people are favorite targets.
The prices will stay the same or maybe go up because of inflation or currency fluctuations and NOT because a group of individuals tend to spend a little more.
I hope that people would stop worrying about the prices and especially stop targeting a certain race of people!!
In any event, the pricing will never be as high as in the U.S. or any other non-asian country.

Any group of people or race have the same rights to go to NEP or anywhere and pay whatever rates they want or feel comfortable with.
Me personnally I always pay 2000Baht LT and rarely talk about price up front. I just slip it in her pocket or bag the next morning and many dont even count it, at least not in front of me.
There should be not expectation that prices at NEP should remain the same forever or that the girls should be available at the ultra cheap price. Call it "Market Forces"
So a few guys go in and splash a bit of money arround and pay over the to (according to your income level). This is capitalism at work and that is why we have places such as NEP, Soi Cowboy, Soi 33 and more up market places.
Try using your negotiating skills with the next girl (after they have gone) as I am sure she will reallize that there are no more tour buses coming that night.
If she doesn't want to come across for the money you offer, move to another bar or pick on of the ugly ones.
There is a f_cken lot of girls there (BKK) and a fewer guys with lots of money.

this was not a question about western/asian.
only a personal impression, in past these group have had their speciall locations, overpriced for normal western. think now its overpriced for them too and they are looking for new hunting grounds.
never my style for target a certain race of people, abc missunderstanding.
just my view

Was not targeting you on the Japanese comment. But ... that comment has been tossed around a lot in this forum. Since the topic was "More Japanes Guys in NEP", I wanted to make my point that others should not just think that only the Japanese can so-called spoil the market place.
I don't think prices will go up in bkk because some indivuals spend more then others. Some clubs might cater towards them and then raise their prices.
But ... Ýover-all the prices seemed to be the same for the past 4 years. Ý
Anyways, my original post was not intended to take a shot at you or flame you.

Yep. The Japanaese guys are very often seen in platoons mainly at ANGELS WITCH and HOLLYWOOD STRIP and even RAINBOW. They hit some other palces but I think they just go to places recommended by the countrymates beforehands....last time at Hollywood Strip I saw a group of about 4 guys and 6 girls with the cups on and shopping bags watching the lesbian show and getting horny with the porno movies flowing in the TV.....

The comment was framed more as an economic statement and was not race related.
Yes I know that places such as Thaniya cater to a more specific clientel. So why go there anyway if your not welcomed.
We must accept that each business has the right to determine what client base they want or will accept, given that their aim is to be there for a long time and ours is only for a short time. Perfectly acceptable for places like Thaniya to pick and choose who they want. Other places do the opposite.
My comment was directed at places that readily accept a braoder based clientel such as NEP. If you go to these places you as an individual have the choice to "Pay how much you want to, so that you get the girl and service that you want".
Who cares a f_ck about the bugdet constraints of other if you get satisfied. My opinion only, as I live for myself and not for what others care or think.
