Just FYI, I was talking to a waitress from Hollywood (top floor) last night, and it was raided (prior to Queen's Biay) by the police. And apparently there was a sex show ongoing at the time of the raid.
It was shut down, and about 20 girls taken away, and also some customers (that's what she said).
She also said that she was told it might be closed for a while.
I don't know what is true, I pass this on as FYI.

Sao 16 is a Thai style club where you can 'hire' girls per dance (was there about 7 years ago, not quite sure the same applies now).
A bunch of (young, hence the name Sao 16) girls dance on stage and you can join a girl for 10 baht per dance.
So no hanky panky .... Take out girls? .... no idea!
Classification: Ram Wong style drink/dance place. Not definitely hot choice of farangs....

Lately I've dropped off Long Gun and only been heading to I think it Hollywood Carousel, the one where we've bumped into each other a few times. Is that the one raided or Hollywood (whatever) next door?

I was in the Carousel last night, but was there early, about 8-ish, but I did hear the cops were around. Was bar hopping so I don't know about the raid last night... and the girl (at Carousel) I talked to last night said that there were no shows last night (because of the raid on Friday, and some girls had the piss test), so I am not sure if that's the same bar that lalake described.
Hollywood Strip and Carnival are both closed for renovations.

hear ya Kayman....26 days to go for me and sure hope I don't land in the middle of a general crack down. Have all sorts of 'bad thoughts' that I need to act upon and don't want the boys in brown screwing it up!

Man, this sounds bad....or is it just another round of PR? Don't care whether the girls at Nana and Cowboy are topless, nude, or whatever.... actually even prefer leaving their suits on so I have a little surprise later... but also saw the bit about the MP's....shit.
Heard this before and it usually passes or is just PR. Any opinions from the more 'in the know' guys?
