Remember that some posts on here are over 1 yr old with no activity therefore information might not be current for ones question asked. UTFSE might apply to some questions but others are outdated so refreashing a question that has not been asked for a while Isn't a bad thing is it????

sigh........ I remember when this board was in it early days and all of us who joined back then were ALL asking new questions - the "newbie section" was just about all there was.
How the heck is a new bro suposed to even KNOW that he can check old messages if hes exactly that "new to the forum"???

JR - a good point and I can't argue with that. However maybe my point is somewhat missed.
I love this site to bits, it has taught me so much etc, but the vast majority of the early members are long gone now, probably for no other reason than natural wasteage.
By the same token most of the guys here now will be "gone" or infrequent visitors by this time next year as well.
Unless we ENCOURAGE the newbies here then the site will die and that would be real shame.
All I am saying is that has been a noticeable increase in "put downs" to Newbies in recent months which I just think is a little sad.
Most of these have tended to be along the lines of "oh god here we go again, please don't waste our time"!! Well if thats how people feel then they can:-
1. Avoid the Newbie section
2. Don't bother to reply
After all if you open the question and then make the reply along those lines then it is the member who is wasting his OWN time by answering.
If the guy feels he is asking a legitimate question then lets either help them or at least poin them in the right direction. We NEED these guys to stay and mocking them is not going to achieve that.
pheeeeeeeeew - well. thats my tuppenyworth....................... 7 hours to flight time............. oh and by the way, where is the Grace hotel - lol
