not sure about this subject,don't quite know how to describe it.
myself and Bandit were talking about accidents that happen in the bars.
wether to you,other customers or the staff,things that were unavoidable,funny or downright annoying.
i have already mentioned the dart from the pussy hitting me,so will start with another one and hopefully people will understand what i'm trying to describe.
we've all seen the bell in the bars,some of us might have rung it now and then,i know i have 4 times in various places.
i was in Rockhard one night and just enjoying a beer,watching the football on the TV and occasionally watching the girls dancing.
had to go for a leak and to do this from my normal seat,i had to walk around the stage to a door opposite my seat.
walked the length of the stage and as i got to the end of it,i slipped on some beer which had been spilt on the floor.
one leg went west,the other east and with my flailing arms i grabbed for the nearest thing to stop me falling.
you guessed it,the rope attached to the bell and it resoundly rang out as i hung on, trying to keep my feet.squeels of joy from the girls broke out and they rushed to the bar to get their drinks.
when i finally recovered my balance i pleaded with them 'come on people,an accident,i did'nt mean to do it'.
but by now i had the girls coming up me with the 'kop kun kaaaaa' and the wai,so i thought f_ck it and let it be.
the bill was put in the bin and when i looked,i almost fell off my seat,5200 baht!!!!!!!!.
i forgot ALL the staff got a drink,bar staff,security and waitresses.
i'm not a cheap charlie,but it was a shock,for that price i could have had 2 girls L/T from the bar.
so i hope this describes what i mean.
and i have another story of an american sailor who broke his arm when falling off the stage.

That's a pretty good story Nokna. ŬI can't think of anything off hand that comes close. ŬI do recall, however, that one of the first times I was in a "bar beer" in BKK, I was asking what this strange contraption was that was hanging from the bar. ŬI almost yanked on it. ŬIt wasn't a bell, per se, but a wooden thing clacker Ŭthat they use as a sort of Thai cowbell. Ŭ It turned out that it was the bell for when you want to buy all of the employees a drink. Ŭ They had a separate bell for buying the whole bar a drink.
After I was more familiar with the bar I bought the employees a drink but I never did buy the whole bar a drink. ŬIt wasn't a large place, but it was generally full, and between the Brits and the Finns I'm not sure I could afford that kind of damage.

was in one of the bars ground floor of nep near obsession with a friend of mine who lived in bangkok. he wanted a girl but of course had been with different one night before.
girl he was with previous night was pissed and on ya ba pretty obvious to me. anyway she would not leave him alone so he tells her to piss off and go home, despite me telling him she works here so leave out the abuse.
she gets angry throws a bottle at him which of course hits me right in the nut and WE get thrown out.
first time i've been kicked out of a bar anywhere, was really pissed off at him should have left whe crazy girl got too much, its not as if there's only one bar.
must admit seems funny now !

I am happy that Nokna started this forum, after I discussed with him by PM if it would be a good idea to do so. At least we are not off topic this time...
You might already know the story about the frog, it was the closest I got to a bar accident myself. This was about three years ago at a go go bar in Patong. As the showtime on which a BG performed the show with a frog jumping out of her pussy, the frog headed into my direction. The whole bar had a good laugh and the naked BG had to run for the frog. I would have adopted the frog...! But when I asked if the frog and BG accept the barfine, I was turned down...!
During my birthday last month which I celebrated at a friend's beer bar in Patong, it happened that the bell fell down while ringing it...! It was not me who rang it, but Mrs Bandit who came over from her beer bar to visit us before closing time. We all had a very good laugh about this, but she was very ashamed that this has happened! Luckily the bell was not broken, it was put back in place by my very concerned friend and rang again many times.

Good topic.
My experience happened at Christies Bar. The manager wanted to play pool, for drinks. My translator is pretty good, so I said what the heck.
If she won then I'd buy drinks for the entire bar, but we settled on 25 drinks. This way people would not come out of the wood works if I lost. If we won, then she would buy drinks for myself and my translator for the rest of the evening.
To make a long story short, my translator won the game. But .... did not call the pocket to shoot the 8 ball in. He pointed, but did not call. She said house rules you have to call. After about 10 minutes of communicating and not arguing. Because I did not want to make a scene. I ended up giving in and paying for 25 drinks.
So ... I learned my lesson. No matter what, never play games with the managers. You will always lose!! ha ha ha!!

a british couple had a drink at our bar. 2 months later the wife returns with an invoice of bumrungrad hospital of about 4k for some twisted leg treatment.
The husband twisted his leg on our stairs on the way to the bathroom. I am asking "what time" she answers "midnight". Well I am suggesting that he might be drunk, and stating that our place is built accroding to thai rules and regulations and that bangkok is not new york, after all I offered 2K and a bottle of whiskey, my stairs 50% his leg 50%. She agrees. Within a week half a dozen of thai, who Ive never seen before had accidents on those stairs. We ended up calling the police, suddenly those unable-to-walk victims left running and no more accidents occured....this is Thailand and I love it.
