Sorry guys, but two real newbie questions I'm still not 100 per cent sure on, even after reading through the other topics:
1. Do the bar fines cover the cost of everything with girl for the night? Is there nothing else to pay her, except for a tip in the morning?
2. Will probably stay at the Manhattan Hotel. If I want to bring a girl back for the night, do I just bring her straight to my room, or do I let reception staff know that I have a guest?
Thanks guys. Really looking forward to this trip. Have never been to Thailand before, and always found Asian girls really sexy, so can't wait to get there!

No way, the bar fine gets her out of the bar only, it basically compensates the bar for here not being there.
After that it is up to you and her. You will find enough postings on ST and LT prices and a tip is up to you. About the hotel, I don't know the Manhatten hotel but again I think you will find postings on that one. They might check and keep her ID card. It is some kind of security for yourself, but nothing to worry about. Happy hunting paddy.

Provided you book and pay for a double room, you will have no problems at Manhattan hotel in taking in your guest. It is unlikely that you will be challenged but occasionally your guest may be asked to leave her ID at the desk. This is normal in many hotels but at Manhattan it is nothing more than a security guy being a little over enthusiastic, and only really checking that you have a double booking. If you have booked a single room, the hotel will charge 430 baht to let you take in a guest.

As Dave said, it is important that you book a double occupancy. Many times it does not cost any more when you check in, but for some reason, they will hit you up if you bring in a guest. I know that booking via the internet, many hotels have the same rate for single or double.
anyways, you do not want to have to pay more and deal with the hassles on your way up to your room. Hassles meaning not from the security guard, but just from having to deal with the payment stuff.
